A long whisper... thus sums up all the cries that we did not hear or did not want to hear from all those who suffered a life that they should never have had, but who is to blame?
All of us have forgotten so much of what once united humans without it being perfect, that's for sure, but the teaching of respect, love and peace were instilled in us. It's up to everyone to see what they do with it next... and it's unfortunately... a long whisper...

Un long murmure... résume ainsi tous les cris que nous n'avons pas entendus ou que nous n'avons pas voulu entendre de la part de tous ceux qui ont subi une vie qu'ils n'auraient jamais dû avoir, mais à qui la faute ?
Nous avons tous oublié une grande partie de ce qui unissait autrefois les humains sans que cela soit parfait, c'est sûr, mais l'enseignement du respect, de l'amour et de la paix nous a été inculqué. C'est à chacun de voir ce qu'il en fera ensuite... et c'est malheureusement... un long murmure...

My Love For You

The sun kept on shining for three glorious months.
I thought I’d found myself a slice of heaven.
I told myself this an amazing place. 
I could live here forever.
And then the calendar hit September seven.

The cloudy weather came. 
And every day was more of the same.
It made me feel so washed out and grey.

I need to feel the sun shining on my face.
I’m sick and tired of living in this dark and cloudy place.
Rain, rain, rain, rain, go away I’m praying for a sunny day.
I’m checking the weather report constantly to see if - it’s goanna be sunny.
But the extended forecast has indefinite clouds and it’s not very funny.
Not very funny at all as the rain continues to fall.
It makes me feel so washed out so grey and so small.
As I try to make it through another dark and cloudy day.

I take a lunchtime walk.  I wear Gore-Tex jacket for the drizzle. 
I don’t need to wear sunglasses even though it’s 12 noon.
It’s just another cloudy day and it wouldn’t be any more dismal.
if I was strolling on the dark side of the moon.

This cloudy rainy weather - it really gets me down.
It makes me feel so washed out and grey.

I need to feel the sun shining on my face.
I’m sick and tired of living in this dark and cloudy place.

General life - info / bio - - -
I began my musical education with listening as an infant and at the age of 7, in 1958, composed my first piece of music which was a brass quartet.

Early influences were guided by the musical taste of my Mother which was often Tchaikovsky and other romantic composers, with an occasional diversion to Big Band and pop music of the late 40's and early 50's.

The Boys Club Band, Grade School Choir and High School Band were a great education in basic orchestration and harmony and in the mid 60's, and self taught as a guitarist, I began live performance, which lasted until 1999.

Music and technology have always been my main interests and as those two elements continued to merge through the late 90's to the present, they have led me to the point where I now can successfully realize my earliest childhood dreams of musical expression in composing for full orchestra.

Special thanks to Mom for the great listening experience, brother Greg for the continued guidance in music from a formal perspective, and brother Lew for the technological expertise.
