After many fan requests, Algerian duo Kheiro & Medi have revived their beloved Subimpact project and bring to Abora their latest wonderful emotional release: "Lotus of the Nile", in collaboration with Russian producer Sergey Shabanov. It is with great pleasure that we present the debut of duo Cannavo & Nesse on Enhanced Progressive! Hailing from the Norwegian woods, Erik Cannavo and Chris Nesse combined their production and audio engineering talents in 2011 to develop their sound and showcase their techniques with compositions such as 'Push'!

Last year one of Malta’s most successful producers Tenishia teamed up with Jonathan Mendelsohn, one of the world’s vocal forces to be reckoned with. The result was a stunning and solid trancer in which Jonathan’s heartfelt vocals were truly done justice.  Now ‘A New Dream’ has received the remix treatment by no other than Liam Wilson. He definitely adds some extra force to the original and deepens the sound, yet really gives Jonathan’s vocals a chance to shine in the break before blasting on. Marvelous!

We are proud to bring back the UK based producer Daniel Cattlin, a true friend of PHW and one that been among us since the early days of the label. It is always a pleasure when we can bring him back with his creative productions. Through his Intrinity guise, he this time teams up with US vocalist Erika Faries who make her debut on the label with a smooth vocal on Daniels production. 

If you are used to bring on Intrinity to your speakers, then you have another solid summer-ish production, built through melodic arrangements and driving chord progressions, just as we always see from this great guy. For those of you who prefer the even more melodic side, there is a straight “Dub Mix” as well of the original for those who rather dig in on that.

On remix duty, we actually see the producer who brought the vocalist and Daniel together, as US based Infinity State returns to the label for another remix with us. This is yet again a sun drenched and positive interpretation with crisp sound design that definitely will get a smile on everyones faces. We are truly happy to see Infinity State back in the family and we do hope for more to please you with in a not to long future. 
Another true PHW producer that been with us countless of times makes another return to us, as we see the Norwegian ace Richard Gjerdin aka Proglifter bringing his touch to the release. Here we see a straight “Dub Mix” as Richard decided to give his touch through the melodies in this package and the result is truly a bliss to go through over and over again.

In January 2008, Silk Digital released its very first single, M.A.Z.7's "Summer Day", featuring a collaborative remix by label inspirations Mango and Arthur Deep. Nearly 8 years later, we're overjoyed to present the first of a two-part offering, in celebration of Silk Digital's 100th single release. To honor the occasion, we've invited several label veterans, with whom we have had the honor of working for the better part of a decade, to rework several of their classics.

Mango, the celebrated Russian musician who laid the groundwork for the definitive melodic progressive house sound of our imprint, contributes the unforgettable "Will You Stay", featuring Ukrainian duo Jozhy K and Angel. Technically not a rework, since the original version was never released, this inspiring cut nonetheless features Mango's signature sound: ethereal chords, soaring above a gentle progressive house groove. Meanwhile, Angel's plaintive vocal hooks strike a poignant chord in the listener, including the titular refrain, "Will you stay, beside me, in the darkness?"

Next up, the one and only Shingo Nakamura, fresh off his "Only Silk 03" compilation, offers a fresh take on his classic, "Alice In Wonderland"; the original version just happened to be his first ever contribution to Silk Music, back in May 2009. The 'Rework' begins with a peak-hour groove and a lush atmosphere; at the quarter turn, a layered bassline cuts through the mix with ferocious intensity; meanwhile, dancing piano lines herald the glorious main theme in the breakdown. The enormous drop, following the break, showcases Shingo's refined DJ sensibility.

Another legendary talent, Kobana, is also fresh off a release on our label collective: his deep take on Dan Sieg's "Gloom", featured recently on our Arrival division. The Polish veteran has played an integral part in defining the sound of Silk's "deeper" side over the years, and from that spirit, his modern 'Rework' of "Play" draws strong inspiration. In the early going, a chilled groove is punctuated by a variety of ominous jazzy effects, including subtle echoes of the original theme. The noir-influenced soundscape continues to crescendo toward the main break, where the incisive main piano theme is finally revealed.

Rounding out the release, another Polish talent, Monojoke, presents a fresh interpretation of his 2008 classic, "And Always Sunshine On Your Face". Having the distinction of being the first Silk artist to receive support on "Trance Around The World", Monojoke's consistent contributions to Silk over the years have included a variety of outside-the-box electronic masterpieces. His 'Rework', as to be expected, features an innovative groove, enhanced by numerous, outer-worldly atmospheric effects. As the track progresses, the bass gets chunkier, and the main theme takes on a cosmic flavor, offering the perfect soundtrack to a celestial voyage.

Next up on InfraProgressive, we welcome an artist who needs very little introduction, an artist that has become a firm favourite in the trance scene, not only with his stellar tracks, but his unique vocal talents too.

Steve Anderson & Breame join forces for our next release with the delightful â€˜Take Me Awayâ€™. As one of the centre pieces from his debut artist album, this emotional, yet perfectly uplifting summer track is a real winner.

The package also includes essential remixes from Trilucid who do what they do best, and Breame adds his own personal touch and completes this mouth-watering package.

A message from Steve Anderson:
â€œTake Me Awayâ€ is the most special song I have ever written, as it came straight from the heart, and I wrote it for my Mum. In recent years she was diagnosed with cancer, a late evening phone call that I will never forget, for all the wrong reasons. After a long fight and fantastic treatment, we beat the cancer and my Mum is today cancer free. I wanted to pay back Cancer Research UK somehow for how well my Mum was treated throughout, and so I wrote this song telling of how I felt, throughout everything that happened. To add to that, in conversation with my pal Andy Tau a couple of years back, he told me in confidence that he himself had been through cancer and recovery, at a much younger age of course. I have been an Andy Tau fan forever, so when Andy offered to remix the song, and we agreed to give all of the sales proceeds to charity via release on Infra Progressive, everything fitted and felt exactly right.
 
My A/B Project partner and long term friend Breame also produced the track with me, and together with Andyâ€™s Trilucid remix, this package has something for everyone. PLEASE support us in our quest to help Cancer Research UK, because they really do make a big difference.

A message from Andy Tau:
A couple of years ago I found a strange lump, I went to the doctor straight away, was diagnosed with cancer, booked in for an operation and successfully treated and I am now cancer free. Thanks to fantastic doctors and staff and swift developments in medical science I was able to catch my illness quickly enough to make a full recovery and now I want to try to give something back. To that end, after talking to Steve and the fact that his mum also had, and won, a fight with cancer, we decided to team up to release a track on Infrasonic with all our royalties going towards Cancer Research, a fantastic UK based charity that funds huge amounts of research on fighting cancer.

Steve has written and sung a beautiful song about his mum and I have done a remix of it for the release. I hope you like our track and thank you for reading this and for supporting us.
