RECORDCOLLECTOR / DJ / PRODUCER - OSLO, NORWAY

Phase is a DJ, producer and vinyl collector from Oslo, Norway. After falling in love with electronic music at the age of 10, he began DJing in 2004 – and it didn’t take long before he was hosting his own shows on Skranglebass.no and Chicagohousefm.com, showcasing a deep love and passion for underground house and techno.

Over the years, he’s been involved in several projects and collaborations, including co-founding Flosshatt Digital, a Norwegian house label focused on the funkier and rawer edges of the genre. Later came Chiraya – a deeper, more experimental venture exploring lo-fi house and techno with a 90s flavour releasing both digitally and on vinyl.

Whether spinning records or producing tracks, Inyourphase’s sound leans towards bumpy, quirky tech, layered with dusty samples, jacking rhythms and off-grid funk. His music is about feel, not polish – rooted in the moment, and always from the heart.

Rui V. (aka) R.V. (aka) @ahrvee / @rvprofile was born in the 5 October 1976 in Évora, where he grew up and started early to get involved in Music and Sound.

With 10 years of age had some equipment; Timex Computer 2048K (SPECTRUM) (which still holds), radio-cassette recorders and microphones and awakened to new sounds. Always with an avid curiosity for new music less commercial, from 14 years of age (the 1990s), started to buy some Vinyl Records through: Punk Rock , Alternative Rock , Hard Rock , Grunge , Post-Punk, Underground Music, Indie and Acid House, which was the first contact with Electronic Music, (turntable and mixer desk) that experimented in the weekly radio program that made with friends in High School where he studied.

In 1994 bought his first PC (personal computer) adquires the first editing and production software's of electronic music and the first machine (Roland MC-303 Groovebox) in 1996. Had a more serious approach to the turntable (Technics) and Djing with his friends, of which techniques learned through his ear, curiosity and development. House Music, Techno and Acid are some styles that lived for some time with friends, with their musical interests and taste , cooperating with them and organized some private parties.

In late 90s, beginning of 2000 and therefore acquired more Machines such as (Mackie 1202, Sony DAT , Boss DR-5 and Alesis Microverb4) the second PC and its development takes him beyond even be invited to play in various places in Évora as: Club 16 , Bar Amas do Cardeal , Alçude , Capitulo 8 and Às de Copas , Time Out - Évora , Espaço Celeiros ; S.H.E. Sociedade Harmonia Éborense in Praça do Giraldo and gave a free (Workshop Dj) at Palácio Dom Manuel Évora. Marked its presence in Pita's Bar in Redondo , at Dclub in Aljezur , had the pleasure of playing in the historical and mythical Alabastro in Albufeira (Algarve) and in Bairro Alto (Lisbon)Groove Bar .

In some of his nights shared cabins with national Deejay's as well: Dj Chris San , Dj Funkat , Dj Sims , Dj FatInch , Dj SK-ra , DJ Headgarr , Dj Barils , Dj Richard G. , Dj Slot and Dj Fido. In addition to bars and clubs, participated and cooperated in private and public events. The music is a constant in its life and the emergence of new technologies makes to acquire new production machinery , continuing to play with vinyl at parties.

In 2007 created his first's " demos " to #MySpace in order to participate and disseminate the electronic Portuguese scene going in the underground. Assiduously participated in 2008 in the musical program "Antena3Danceclub" , "Purpurina" and #RedBullMusicAcademy " #Ginga Beat " in National Radio #Antena3 . Nowadays continues to produce and make sound's and music even without publisher or label.

This is one of his passions and is sure to continue to shake the party-people with their #Vinylset with #turntables, mixing the clean technology with the charm, charisma and soul of electronic music, which provides special and unexpected.

Com 10 anos de idade adquiriu algum equipamento; Timex Computer 2048K (SPECTRUM) (que ainda tem) , rádio-gravadores de cassetes e microfones que o fez despertar para novos sons. Sempre com uma curiosidade ávida por novas músicas menos comerciais, a partir dos 14 anos de idade (1990) começou a comprar alguns discos de vinil assim como: Punk Rock , Rock Alternativo , Hard Rock , Grunge , Pós-Punk , Música Underground , Indie e Acid House foi o primeiro contacto com a Música Electrónica; os (Gira-Discos e Mesa de Mistura) que utilizou no programa de rádio semanal que fez com amigos na Escola Secundária onde estudou.

Em 1994 comprou o seu primeiro PC (computador pessoal), adquiriu os primeiros softwares de edição e produção de Música Electrónica e a primeira máquina (Groovebox Roland MC-303) em 1996. Teve uma abordagem mais séria aos gira-discos (Technics) e à arte de Djing com os seus amigos, em que aprendeu algumas técnicas através de seu ouvido, curiosidade e desenvolvimento. House Music, Techno e Acid House são alguns estilos musicais que ouviu por algum tempo com amigos, com os mesmos gostos e interesses musicais e que colaboraram com ele organizando algumas festas privadas.

No final dos anos 90, início de 2000 adquiriu mais Máquinas , tais como (Mackie 1202, Sony DAT, Boss DR-5 e Alesis Microverb4) o segundo PC e o seu desenvolvimento leva-o mais além, até mesmo ser convidado para tocar em vários lugares em Évora como: Club 16 , Bar Amas do Cardeal , Alçude , Capitulo 8 e Às de Copas , Time Out - Évora , Espaço Celeiros , S.H.E. Sociedade Harmonia Eborense na Praça do Giraldo e deu um (Workshop Dj) gratuito no Palácio Dom Manuel . Marcou a sua presença no Pitas Bar em Redondo, no Dclub em Aljezur, teve o prazer de tocar nos históricos e míticos Bares - Alabastro em Albufeira (Algarve) e no Bairro Alto (Lisboa), Groove Bar .

Em algumas de suas noites partilhou a cabine com Djs nacionais: Dj Chris San , Dj Funkat , Dj Sims , Dj FatInch , Dj SK-ra , DJ Headgarr , Dj Barils , Dj Richard G. , Dj Slot e Dj Fido. Além de bares e clubes, participou e colaborou em eventos públicos e privados. A música é uma constante na sua vida e com o surgimento de novas tecnologias torna a adquirir mais máquinas de produção, continuando a tocar com vinil em festas.

Em 2007 criou as suas primeiras " demos " para o MySpace, a fim de participar e divulgar a cena Electrónica Portuguêsa via underground. Participou assiduamente em 2008, no programa musical "Antena3Danceclub" , "Purpurina" e RBMARadio "Ginga Beat" na Rádio Nacional Antena3 . Actualmente continua a produzir som e música, mesmo sem editora ou agência.

Esta é uma das suas paixões e tem a certeza de continuar a agitar a festa e as pessoas com seus Sets com Vinil, misturando a tecnologia limpa com o charme, carisma e a alma da música electrónica, que proporciona momentos especiais e inesperadas nas suas actuações ecléticas.

His career began with music when he was only 8 years old, when he developed a spectacular creativity with his drums.
Years later, at the early age of 16, he unleashes a special interest in electronic music and takes his first steps as a dj in several local booths, where he feels influenced by artists such as Ben Sims, Surgeon, Adam Beyer among others.
Only 2 years later, he began to investigate in production, defining his own sound, which he later polished.
Shortly after, in 2014, he released his first reference under the famous label Naked Lunch and successively over the years he has been releasing music on major international labels such as Faut Section, Edit Select, Illegal Alien Records.... etc.
His music is supported by great artists such as DVS1 , Lewis Fautzi , Oscar Mulero , Abstract Division , Electric Indigo....
