Chapter 1: The Beginning

The night kicks off at the cradle of hardstyle. Scope DJ, A-lusion & Pavo take you back to when it all started for hardstyle. From DJ Duro’s ‘Just Begun’, one of Scantraxx’ first releases, to Scope DJ’s ‘Lockdown’, this is when the early years of hardstyle enter the stage.

Let’s get ready to rumble!

Back in 2002, Dov Elkabas (DJ The Prophet) noticed that a genre called ‘hardstyle’ was transforming into something big. New acts rised and Q-dance created events to support this new sound. Dov decided to create a platform so big, it would be leading in the world of hardstyle. This was the start of Scantraxx: the very first big hardstyle label. For Pavo, A-lusion and Scope DJ, this also was the beginning of an incredible journey. We all know their legacy, now it’s time to dive into their origin.

 Esse set era para ser tocado na festa Technology mas infelizmente por problemas técnicos não pude tocá-lo, o final do set esta cortado pois como disse não era para ser disponibilizado era só para acervo pessoal

With damp wintery wind currents to the warm air fronts, the seasonal shift is upon us, blossoming with festive springtime exuberance. Gear up for the summer prelude with our latest soundtrack to happiness.

Edvard Hunger’s “End of Winter” is the perfect sonic transition to phase out of winter hibernation to embrace our love for spring. This progressively deep cut will thaw out any frozen mood with its melodic and groovy motifs. Next, Lepo engenders an appetite for sunshine and beach vibes. “Like A Friend” wastes no time engaging listeners with a blissful array of balearic fervor. Slow churning basslines and mesmerizing synth leads create a hypnotic semblance in Skyline Project’s surreal “Wavemaker”. Kindred spirits, Numedian and Abide, collaborate on the awe-inspiring “Aquamarina” that embellishes the balearic themes with tribal rhythm, heartfelt melodies, and tons of atmosphere. 

Dedicated to a valued fan, “Selena’s Love” rejuvenates life with euphonious harmony. Z8phyR’s melodic signatures are thematically embedded in this textured canvas. Mark Digital continues his island theme with “Sumatra,” a large Indonesian island west of Java and south of the Malaysian Peninsula. Powerful kicks, undulating basslines, and guitar plucks complement poignant instrumental themes. Miguel Angel Castellini debuts with “Don’t Steal My Heart Again,” a track with sentimental value, deeper melodic progressive motifs, and some retro appeal. If we were ever to set an Avanti all-star team, picking the artists from one of our best performing releases and give it the remix treatment by one of our busiest producers in collaboration with the labelmanager would probably be a pretty good place to start - and we did just that! Rolo Green & Kolonie’s 2018 groover “Deeper” sees a 2019 remix by Flynthe & Kris O’Neil, turning up the dirty-disco-knob a few nudges, while still paying great respect to the original. This one has gotten quite a few feet tapping at the Avanti HQ, and there’s a fair chance yours will as well!

Very few can boast that they created a ‘Classic Trance Anthem’ in their studio but that accolade is one of many that Steve Allen can claim!

During Steve’s time as the producer and DJ within the project ‘Allen & Envy’, Steve managed to create a number of global hits including ‘Silhouette’, ‘Stole The Sun’, 'Don’t Say', ‘Home’, ‘Rush’, ‘Rescue Me’ and ‘Kardia’. He created regular music for Armada, Black Hole, Future Sound Of Egypt, Garuda, Flashover, Pure Trance and his trance has been championed by the likes of Armin Van Buuren, Aly & Fila, Paul Van Dyk, Solarstone and countless others.

Now as a solo act, Steve’s debut solo album “Uplift” released on his own label of the same name (a sub label of Raz Nitzan Music), topped 2.4million Spotify plays, and he has produced countless chart topping hits such as “Broken Child” “Frozen River” “Skyfire”  and his collaboration with Paul Van Dyk “Fairytales” featured on Paul’s “from Then On Album” 

It comes as no surprise why Steve’s productions have dominated the Beatport charts for the last 6 years with his ‘Allen & Envy’ project reaching Top10 status on Beatstats Artists, and as a solo act more recently reaching number 1 for a total of 5 months. A chart of the highest charting acts on Beatport over a 12 month period!

Steve’s talents aren’t just in the studio, playing his productions at the worlds biggest events is something that drives and motivates him. One of his peak experiences being when he played a producer set at the launch of “Transmission Melbourne” in front of a sold out 8,000 fans!

The list of international dance hubs goes on that Steve has played having reached fans in LA at Exchange, Ruby Skye of San Francisco, Soundbar in Chicago, Room 680 in Melbourne, FSOE in Taiwan, Tranceparade in China and Transmission in Bangkok!
