My ears like that your OM loves DADGAD!  Really like how you used the bass notes through out and the turn the melody takes around the :50 mark. Really nice piece of writing Steve!

The first of a series of "variations" in which I get a melody from people important to me, and write a piece using that melody. The idea is inspired by Edward Elgars "Enigma Variations", hence the name "Variation I".
