Qwerk welcomes back groove mastermind Niko Boggs alongside our newest Qwerk artist, Kyle Zuck for "Whiplash" – an EP designed to short-circuit your common sense and activate your inner dancer. These two tracks pack enough acid-tinged funk to make standing still physically impossible. Boggs brings his signature modular madness while Zuck adds his unique brand of beautiful chaos to the Qwerk label. The potent twang from this duo is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and some pep in your step! Just be sure to use caution and hold on to your head, whiplash may occur!

2018, fell in love with house music and wanted to do more than just DJ, so I hit YouTube and learned Ableton

Around 2016. It started as messing around and turned into something I actually stuck with.

Definitely my obsession with modular synthesis. I love building sounds from nothing and getting caught up in the unpredictability.

Randall Boggs. Always moving a little differently.

4. What’s your favorite sound?
Water. It’s simple, but there’s something about how it moves and shifts that’s always soothing.

5. You’re making dinner at your house… what’s on the menu?
Ramen with kimchi, tofu, edamame, seaweed, and chilli paste.

Hailing from the North of England, Denney kickstarted his career with a residency at the historic Back to Basics night. Now a global figure in the dance scene, he regularly plays at the biggest venues, with releases on Jackathon Jams, 2020 Vision, VIVa, Hot Creations among others. With a career spanning over twenty years, D.Ramirez is a the top of his game. The Northern DJ and producer has been nominated for an Ivor Novello, played in every continent, and five of his releases making the Top 20.

Cultivating his passion for aesthetic and sound design since a young age, Argy is a real Artist. 
The Greek born, London based producer has been releasing music for more than a decade on labels such as Cocoon, Objektivity, Desolat, Cuttin Headz as well as his own These Days label, the legendary Bedrock and Luciano’s Cadenza. 
He is a versatile producer, collaborating with artists as diverse as Kerri Chandler, The Martinez Brothers and Manuel Göttsching, and is surely the youngest artist to manage to gather such a vast and diverse body of work in this scene. He has also been playing at the celebrated Panorama Bar since 20 years of age and who has held Ibiza residencies at clubs like Amnesia, Space, Destino and Pacha in the last few years.

We are excited to present on Rebirth his new production, ‘Let's Play’ featuring Blue Jay. A Club Vocal Anthem, with a hooky bassline, a distinctive riff and the powerful vocals, combining the soul of Detroit and Chicago House with the Berlin attitude. 
The package also includes some great remixes. The German producer Butch is back on Rebirth with an instant dance floor catcher, while Greek producer Echonomist delivers a dubbier version with mesmerizing sonorities and deeper atmospheres.

Returning to Steve Bug’s Sublease label, buraq drops two new heaters on the Scream & Shout release. The DJ, composer and producer from Zurich, Switzerland roars back with the follow up to I Don’t (2019) and Untold (2020) that dropped to great acclaim. 

Title track Scream & Shout is a vibey deep burner - a solid kick is teased in and out, while crisp 808 percussion brings the groove. There’s a juicy, old school Kerri Chandler vibe to the track with a mutating synth lead and vocal sample. 

Hey Hey treads a similar path - a deep and slinky groove gets under the skin and brings back the yearning for basement dancefloors - it’s two note melody is classic Chicago house and a timely reminder of better days.
