That Funny Feeling

A Carol Of Courtship

The album is a tribute to Sonic The Hedgehog 2 for Sega Genesis. All tracks were created using the instrumentation of the game. 11 tracks corresponds to the 11 levels in-game. This was accomplished using the plugins RYM2612 and RYMCAST both made by Inphonik. Being that the music uses the same sounds as those used in the 2D Sonic games, the music is 16-bit chiptune featuring tracks that would fare well for a tropical lagoon, all the way to the grimey pits of a cave.

My goal with this whole album was not to do a full music redesign of the existing music in Sonic The Hedgehog 2, but rather to take those instruments, and make something 100% my own. Some tracks are definitely inspired by the levels themselves though. Thank you for listening.
