Here is the recording of my set at the Wilde Möhre Klimperkiste edition this year. I played the opening of the whole festival, Friday from 4pm until 7pm.

I was a little worried with this playtime that people might need a little while to get in the mood for dancing, considering this was the first big party/festival in over a year for many. 

But oh my god, everyone was AMAZING. People were queuing up at the entrance to the festival-grounds to get in and start dancing as soon as the music began, and the atmosphere was just incredible from the get-go.

THANK YOU to all the dancers, I had a really special time and I hope anyone listening to this recording can enjoy it too :)

Als Aaliyah 2019 angefangen hat aufzulegen, war noch gar nicht richtig abzusehen, wohin das führen soll. Mit den ersten Gigs vor Publikum war aber schnell klar, dass dieser Weg sie weiterführen soll. Ihren konsequent von melodischen Elementen durchzogenen Sound hat sie irgendwo zwischen sphärischen und verträumten Klängen und treibenden Baselines gefunden, bei denen, sie eingeschlossen, niemand lange stillsitzen kann. Geboren und aufgewachsen in Hamburg, bespielte sie unter anderem mit dem Südpol und dem Gängeviertel, schon einige namhafte Locations der Hansestadt mit ihrem zum Tanz zwingenden Sound.

INTERVIEW:
1. Wie lange legst du nun schon auf und wie hast du es gelernt?

A: Also angefangen zu spielen habe ich bei einer Freundin Zuhause so aus Spaß eher im Jahr vor Corona. Im Lockdown hatte ich dann alle Zeit der Welt gefühlt um zu üben, habe aber am Anfang noch gar nicht so meinen Sound gefunden. Das kam erst so im letzten Jahr und damit dann auch die ersten Gigs, also das erste Mal vor Publikum gespielt habe ich im November 2019 aber so richtig, mit der Musik mit der ich mich wohlfühle und den nötigen skills vielleicht seit letztem Jahr Frühling/Sommer. Tatsächlich haben wir uns einfach ausprobiert und einfach gespielt, so learning by doing mässig. Hin und wieder habe ich mir mal Youtube Videos angeguckt aber die waren nicht so hilfreich deshalb haben wir einfach gemacht.

2. Gibt es ein bestimmtes Event oder Moment an das/den du dich gern zurück erinnerst? 

A: Ich erinnere mich super gerne an ein Open Air im Sommer 2021 zurück. Nach beinahe 1 ½ Jahren Pandemie haben wir mit einem Hygienekonzept den Geburtstag von ‘nem Kumpel gefeiert und es war eine unbeschreibliche Stimmung. Nices Wetter, coole Leute, geile Mucke und die Leute hatten einfach Bock, das hat unglaublich Spaß gemacht! 

3. Was wünscht du dir, sollte in der Clubszene .anders laufen?

A: Das was ich mir gesamtgesellschaftlich auch wünsche. Mehr Awareness für Sexismus, Rassismus, Antisemitismus, Heterosexismus, Ableismus - Strukturen, mehr Sichtbarmachung von Personen(Gruppen) die marginalisiert werden, weniger toxische Männlichkeit und mehr klare Kommunikation!

4. Wie würdest du deinen Sound beschreiben?

A: Mein Sound ist eigentlich immer melodisch, manchmal verträumt und sphärisch manchmal auch etwas monotoner und doller. Die Baselines kicken in der Regel immer so, dass es schwer fällt still zu bleiben

5. Was liegt dir neben dem Auflegen noch sehr am Herzen? 

A: Ich bin ein sehr politischer Mensch, deshalb liegt mir sehr am Herzen, dass wir uns als Gesellschaft bewusster machen wie wir eine inklusivere Gesellschaft sein können als wir es jetzt sind und wie wir die Gruppenbezogenen-Diskriminierungen erkennen, benennen und mit der Zeit aus unserer Sprache und unseren Handlungen streichen. 

6. Wenn du ein Wort wärst, welches wäre das?

A: Impulsiv

Here I am with my first open air set, which I have been putting online for over 2 1/2 years🤷‍♂️😃 Let's hope those sets will be added again at shorter intervals and the pandemic just gives us more freedom to celebrate moments like that together🙏 It's hard to put into words how much i enjoyed this freedom in this moment, especially with my current mental problems I percieve such moments even more extreme than before😋❤️ 
Thanks in any case to the people who invited me to perform at this party and this location with my sound🙏❤️ 
Thanks to the dancing crowd and everyone who couldn't be there, have fun with the 3 hour flight🔈🎶❣️

Lewis Moran - Hottest

After their debut with "Sakura", FINNEST presents "Feel Me In Your Soul" by Kevin Deep, in their first reference of their division "Groovy Series" On side A, we find "Feel Me In Your Soul", a very pretty minimal house with a groove full of energy and movement accompanied by some hot melodies, the main element, the vocal is super sexy, it takes you to a point of no return from which you do not want to leave. Like B-side, "Pad Love", as its name says, magical pads accompanied by a very deep bassline, this time with a more crunchy groove and an elegant vocal that makes you feel like you are in the clouds, the vibe is soft. In general, a very solid maxi for the presentation of "Groovy Series", this great release by our friend Canario, cannot be missing from your playlist.
