This is my catharsis piece for social distancing.

My friend Eric is living in his brother's above-garage apartment in Sandusky with a pile of modular gear and he sent me a piece he recorded, inspired by the isolation. It fits so well with a piece I've been working on, that I merged it into mine.

I have been collecting bits of sound for a couple years, my favorite ones came from a series of war prep movies from Britain during WW2. I built a kind of soundboard in Pure Data that processes sound files thru a vocoder, with the carrier being a harmonically rich waveform mixed with a Shepard's Tone oscillator and a phaser.

They work well to offset the spoken nonsense from the Resident.
