Yamaa grew up and honed his craft around the bay area as a basement dweller, collecting music of all genres and refining his skills behind the decks. Having over 10 years experience with DJing he took up production. Deciding to purse music he moved to Los Angeles to attend Icon Music School.
 
Yamaa started going to raves with an aspiration to share his love of electronic with the masses. He has become a staple of the bay area underground culture predominantly playing house and breaks. His production keeps people on the dancefloor moving non stop with catchy vocals, dark and hypnotic basslines, tasty synths and groovy drums. Yamaa has played multiple shows and Festivals all over California, opening for artists of all genres, with no plans on slowing down.
