il collabore avec Robin Schulz , c’est pour créer le hit «I Believe I’m Fine», qui devient très rapidement un succès. En plus d’être certifié disque d’or, le titre est streamé plus de 50 millions de fois.

Le titre " Bellaciao ", un remix du "Chant des partisans" repris dans la série télé " Lacasadepapel ", a un immense succès dans toute l'Europe et est certifié or et platine dans plusieurs pays. Il permet d'accroître considérablement la renommée de Hugel. En parallèle, le DJ sort le titre "Signs" avec TaioCruz . Pour la fin d'année 2018, il signe un duo enlevé avec la chanteuse Amber Van Day : " WTF ". On y reconnaît un sample bien connu de la chanson "Parce que tu crois" de CharlesAznavour .
