This song is a bit campy. The core of this thing is pure Isley Brothers' formula from the 70s -- they had these no nonsense, hard slamming funk songs that just went on forever (and you want them to). And there's also a healthy dose of 80s/90s slinky funk guilty pleasures like Grace Jones, Sade, & Seal.

93 Million Miles. Jeff is the featured vocalist. He is my all-time favorite rock/pop star; Thank You Jeff! I Love You.

The lyrics were written well over a year ago but several lines in separate verses are resonating with me with greater charge today given the state of our world.

Lâche ou Héros TRANSLATED

Souvent nous revient cette curieuse envie de changer le monde parce que certaines choses ou pour certain beaucoup de choses nous dérangent ou déplaisent, mais c’est en fait un jugement qui nous appartient, c’est donc surement le monde à l’intérieur de nous qu’il faut changer, notre perception, car personne n’a le même ressenti pour les mêmes choses, la paix intérieure est en nous c’est ce que j’essaie tous les jours de comprendre et de suivre, la résilience, le contentement pour accéder à cette paix intérieure. Lâcher prise en faisant confiance à cette force invisible qu’est la vie et son équilibre, se laisser un peu porter lorsque c’est trop difficile.
 Gandhi disait : Personne ne peut te blesser sans ta permission, le bonheur c’est un état d’être, le bonheur c’est un choix que l’on fait le matin au réveil, ou pas. Nous sommes libres de notre état d’être

I was struck by an article in the Guardian 10 years ago about a woman who used to hang out and work with the Rolling Stones in the 60s and the article was about adapting to old age while having nostalgia for such a potent time in her life. For this recording I had to change one word - 70 to 80. Musically it needed to be rhythmic but melancholic: something you got from major and minor seventh songs in the mid 70s as disco kicked in

Latest 3 albums seek to marry singer songwriter Imagery with multi-harmony musical movement. 2024 FLOATING INTO WONDER and ECCENTRICITY SO BEAUTIFUL got airplay on a New Foundland radio station. Dec 24 FAKING IRONY and CAUGHT UP IN A WAR have have gotten a foothold in Spotify.
