It felt good to be back after being away from the studio for 4 weeks. We've been traveling for the past month spreading The Sound of Tomorrow at SXSW, WMC, and now Asia. The pros of being away for so long meant that Joe stacked up on plenty of music for the past month which makes up for the lost time, trust. There is too much to say and talk about but shout out to all of the amazing people who came out to our shows to see and connect with us. We are very grateful! 

Next week Joe Kay wiil be @ Coachella but that won't stop Soulection Radio this time. Stay tuned.

This week's installment found Jozana without his 3 other regular co-hosts who were not in the building but he was lucky enough to have been blessed with a co-host/guest dj for the night in the lovely Dj Phantasii! Jozana & Dj Phantasii went hour for hour with Phantasii kicking off hour one with a hot blazing set of Afro-house and soulful tunes. Jozana came on for hour 2 with a mix of new tunes and slept on hot ones from years past. Hour 3 found Phantasii coming back energized to make her second go round worth waiting for and Jozana closed out the night like only he can. Hope you enjoy.

Aroop Roy is a UK artist and producer with over 10 year's experience taking his eclectic sounds around the world.
His music blends together the organic elements of jazz, afro, latin and funk with the deep electronic edge of house and techno. His productions have been supported worldwide by numerous tastemakers and DJs.
Aroop has released music on a variety of labels including Freestyle, Gamm, Basic Fingers, the Gym and My Best Friend. His recent Brazilian Breakdown series and Reworks EP have been hugely successfully with vinyl selling out and digital EPs topping the charts. 
From tropical parties and jazz nights, to house and techno clubs, Aroop has DJ'd in 5 continents and had residencies in London, Geneva and Tokyo, where he played an important part in the underground scene with hugely popular and innovative club nights absolute!!, Exposure and Culture.
Other highlights include his highly acclaimed compilation CD absolute!! Sounds From Tokyo, and an invitation to do a guest mix on Gilles Peterson's Worldwide radio show. He was also selected for the Red Bull Music Academy in Melbourne.
