One of my first edits from my library of found sounds: "Relaxing Rain and Loud Thunder" is designed as a brief intro into my perspective on contemporary field recording. This is actually a few different storms, recorded in different times in various places piled up on top of each other to create a uniquely soothing three and a half minutes. Steven Faile is a composer for TV whose credits include music placements on major networks including NBC, CBS, CNBC, MSNBC, MTV, History Channel, A&E, HGTV in numerous shows including American Pickers, CBS Sports, NBC Sports, Give, The Deed, The Filthy Rich Guide, Catfish, Tiny House Hunters, Investigation Discovery, Vice, Ink Master, etc.

Steven also composes for sample libraries such as Rocky Mountain Sounds, Gahrn Audio, Triple Spiral Audio, and Sonora Cinematic, Sonic Underworld, Luftrum, etc. He is a multi-instrumentalist and enjoys writing in multiple genres.

Originally from South Carolina, Steven played guitar in bands as a teenager and then professionally in various cover bands while studying guitar (classical and jazz) in college. After graduation, he continued performing, teaching lessons privately, doing session work etc. while he and his wife Christy performed in bands together. They have called Nashville home since 2000.
