Delve deep into a world of intrigue, where neon cuts through darkened streets, wi-fi is your best friend, and one and zero's may very well decide your fate. Enigma is a 400 patches strong library that effortlessly weaves a path through your next globe-hopping political drama, clandestine suspense thriller or cyberpunk dystopia. Definitively modern, Enigma eschews the normal conventions of under-scoring for something truly unique and electronic.

Pulsing arps will propel you through a web of shadowy pads, while gripping electro-percussion and dark hits keep tabs on the time. Muscular bass will under-pin your compositions, while defiant synths and tense keys sizzle with inexplicable electricity. Exhilarating transition effects peal back the layers to reveal brooding darkweb soundscapes. Combined, these elements weave a digital tail unhindered by normal conventions.

Enigma pays homage to the works of Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, Ratchet), Cliff Martinez (Neon Demon, Only God Forgives), Marc Canham (I care a lot) and artists in the vein of Robot Koch and Oneohtrix Point Never.

Hard-coded into every patch are modwheel and velocity assignments for fuller expression - and when applicable, aftertouch. Each patch leaves a few decibels of headroom. Included is a PDF installation guide for ease of use.

Unplug from the usual, and plug into a world saturated in source code and fiber-optic light. Just make sure to wipe your hard-drives afterward :)

Scorched Skies  - Steven Faile demo for Sonic Underworld Genysis

This little number is totally inspired by my cat Sixx Vicious (pictured in all his round glory). It starts out with some crunchy blues in a straight forward 4/4 groove, and than morphs into a slow 6/8 groove before exploding into a full gallop 6/8 groove.
Towards the end it slows back down into a shuffle rhythm that fades into a rather different ending...surprise!!!! It's Chonkers.

Steven Faile is a composer for TV whose credits include music placements on major networks including NBC, CBS, CNBC, MSNBC, MTV, History Channel, A&E, HGTV in numerous shows including American Pickers, CBS Sports, NBC Sports, Give, The Deed, The Filthy Rich Guide, Catfish, Tiny House Hunters, Investigation Discovery, Vice, Ink Master, etc.

Steven also composes for sample libraries such as Rocky Mountain Sounds, Gahrn Audio, Triple Spiral Audio, and Sonora Cinematic, Sonic Underworld, Luftrum, etc. He is a multi-instrumentalist and enjoys writing in multiple genres.

Originally from South Carolina, Steven played guitar in bands as a teenager and then professionally in various cover bands while studying guitar (classical and jazz) in college. After graduation, he continued performing, teaching lessons privately, doing session work etc. while he and his wife Christy performed in bands together. They have called Nashville home since 2000.
