Browsing my tracks, I found the studio version of this song, which is included in the digital version of my latest "Live in Bratislava". It brings me nice memories, when I started exploring new paths with my synthesizers and my drum machines. I hope you will enjoy it too, and share it as well.

Elisa - Labyrinth

This composition is a musical story about hope and dreams. 
The piano part conveys excitement and worries about the future, while the violin conveys confidence and optimism. There is a climax in the middle of the piece, but the composer does not say whether everything will be fine or not. Each listener will have their own answer.

This tune was recorded during a cozy home concert in the live format and was mastered at the Abbey Road Studios in London.

We are delighted to introduce Sophie Riviere, a pianist, composer, and teacher from the island of Noirmoutier, France. Deeply connected to the sea and her island’s maritime soul, Sophie’s music flows like ocean waves, carrying memories, emotions, and a deep reverence for nature.

Her latest piece, “Madeleine”, is a tribute to resilience, passion, and the strength of women. Named after both her middle name and her aunt, who also played the piano, this composition honors the ways women overcome challenges and express themselves through art, work, and life. For Sophie, the piano has been both a refuge and a companion, capturing moments of struggle and joy alike. ad21

Whether she plays in the salt marshes, or on stage, Sophie’s music is an invitation to reflect, dream, and celebrate the beauty of the world around us.

Madeleine

Hey, it’s me again.

Today’s post is a quiet snapshot from a rainy afternoon in the studio. I was sitting at the Bechstein, playing around with textures and loops, and this short improvisation just happened — simple, moody, and full of echo.

It’s part of an ongoing shift I feel in my work: towards more atmosphere, more grain, more space. The setup is still evolving, but this recording captures a moment of transition — somewhere between felt piano and layered soundscapes. A loop emerged, and I followed it.

Hey – it’s me again!
This is Talking to Ghosts — the second release from my ongoing project Cycles I.

I’ve refined my TouchOSC loop engine for this one, making it easier to switch between loops in real time. It’s a quiet but important step forward in my setup — less distraction, more flow.

The piece itself has a strange kind of presence. The loops start talking back. Layers appear, disappear, reappear — like echoes of something that was once there. Or maybe still is.

Over the past weeks, this piece slowly became more personal. As the anniversary of my brother’s death approached, certain memories and emotions began to resurface — quietly, insistently.
I didn’t plan for it to become personal, but somehow it did.
There’s a feeling of reaching out — not knowing who (or what) might answer. A sense of speaking into something unseen, hoping to hear something in return.

Maybe that’s what looping is: a conversation with what’s left behind.

The world is shifting — AI, music, identity, everything. I’m trying to figure out what it means to exist as an artist right now. What can I offer? What am I even trying to say? I don’t have answers yet. But this is part of the search.
