This version of Dwell was born of late nights at a piano...always wondering if the melodies of the original could be rewritten in a rather free and spontaneous fashion. This is what emerged. It is best enjoyed under a star-lit sky as the snow falls  - of course with several angels & baby deer in your midst as you sip hot drinking chocolate. 'Earthworks' is Thom Brookes' debut album as Drombeg, following his acclaimed EP ‘Notes From The Ocean Floor’ in 2015. A soundtrack for the middle-of-nowhere, the wild landscapes of Brookes' native Southern Ireland are littered with historic (Tumulus), and geological (Béarra) structures hardened under the relentless elements. Sinuous string melodies, and tender piano phrases reach like sunlight breaking through heavy clouds, blended with electronics and field recordings in careful balance to produce a rich cinematic sound.

A glorious summer harvest finds Mango Alley returning to golden fields. Another collection of "Summer Chillout" builds on a rich musical heritage of brilliant ambience. Melancholy washes over in a stream of perpetual music. Slate grey skies provide their own foreboding narrative to wash away serenity in a storm that resonates thunderous low-end frequencies rumbling across the horizon.

The long-shadowed sun casts its glow over the capricious dance of butterflies on warm air; a never-ending summer on Mango Alley creates another moment of sonic brilliance.
