Pattern Of Water

10 Pianos is a piano-based electronic piece composed for Piano Day 2022.
Recorded with 10 different pianos, within 10 hours, and produced in 10 days.

The experiment took place on February 14th at the Piatino Pianoforti in Turin, Italy - an artisan production factory founded by Giovanni Piatino and Adele Piatino in 1910, to house the Steinbach brand. The idea behind this project was to enter the facility and let myself be carried away by the unique location and its instruments - and to document this special moment in time with both music and film.  

All the sounds you can hear in the composition are the original of each of the ten instruments: Petrof, Colombo, Steinbach, Steinway & Sons, Förster, Kupfer, Bechstein, Erard, Negro, Blüthner.
