Recorded live on the party floor on Saturday night at Friction in Greensboro, North Carolina. This was the 3rd set of the weekend so a lot of tracks from way back got pulled out of the vault. The intimate dance floor was jam packed with writhing sexy bodies losing control…what a wild experience at Friction… IYKYK 😈And it was our friend Heather’s birthday, what a night!

Announcing 'Wormhole' , the third VA of Materica, composed of 7 tracks.

Wormhole continues the same style that mostly characterizes Materica, but this time it digs deeper into a dreamy psychelic rave phantasmagoria.

Different artists deliver tracks that move dancefloors into new sonic narratives, inviting you to drop your expectations and experiment with your bodily senses.

Starting from minimalistic sounds such as the ones of Bruna, Tomo, Medlock & Philip Kylberg, passing through the Sci-Fi Wave of Surt,
and diving into the percussive mind-games by K.O.P 32 and Jan Sawm to then arrive to the Psy/Trance track of AYIM.

'The Granules Ket' — second EP by SVZZ.

Due to earlier unpublished information, Igor Sorokin has been figuring in criminal investigation which is run by Ukraininan Security Service for last two months. Law enforcement officials confiscated SVZZ`s work laptop, headphones and external audio channel. 

The investigatiom is currently ongoing, SVZZ stays at home till the moment his guilt is disproven. Having lost all his musical project and devices, he started to write music on his friend`s PC.

This release is satureted with ghetto tunes and shows authors personal emotions during the period he has troubles with the law.

Freak Night (Ft.Leshutler)

It’s Belgium vs. Malta for the second split EP on Gated, with Datawave’s tough take on electro kicking off the A side and Sound Synthesis’s cosmic machine music on the B.

Both producers are currently making waves with numerous releases on labels like Fundamental and Nebulae, with their complementary yet distinct styles of electro brought together for the first time.

Perhaps the most obviously peaktime track, Datawave’s Pulsar sounds immense, with a wriggling bassline and cracking drums that’ll cut through on a system.

Breach Out takes things darker and deeper, with gnarly and hypnotic synths leading you on some tripped out journey into a dystopic future.

Sound Synthesis, meanwhile, lightens the mood with Lost in Orbit, but retains that sense of moving into the future. Except this time it’s somewhere beyond the stars.

That said, EP-closer MH System is the kind of classic 4am stomper every DJ needs, with a low-slung bassline and spaced-out samples guaranteed to keep the floor moving.
