Rotruz é uma banda de Mogi das Cruzes/SP formada no final de 2013 tendo em sua formação: Xandão - Vocalista e guitarrista, Scott - contra baixo e vocal e Ricardo - baterista e vocal.

Com pouco tempo de estrada a banda participou de uma grande coletânea lançada pela UGK Disccos chamado “Rock Soldiers Volume 18” lançamento em julho de 2014 com duas músicas retiradas do demo Rotruz de 2013. Em dezembro de 2014 a banda entra em estúdio para gravar a música “Lavagem Cerebral” feita a convite do produtor Marivan para participar do volume 19 de Rock Soldiers, novamente lançada pela a UGK disccos em março de 2015.

A banda Rotruz gravou o vídeo clipe da música Lavagem Cerebral com a direção de Julitos Koba, lançado oficialmente dia 15 de agosto de 2015 pelo canal da banda no Youtube.

Atualmente a banda vem passando por uma fase de reformulação por conta da saída do baixista Scott, e se prepara para entrar em estúdio novamente para gravação de seu primeiro álbum intitulado "Mundo Real".

O grupo vem realizando um trabalho autoral com forte influência do Hardcore/Punk Rock, letras baseadas na vida e no cotidiano com muita atitude e responsabilidade.

With little time on the road the band participated in a large collection launched by UGK Disccos called "Rock Soldiers Volume 18" release in July 2014 with two songs taken from the 2013 demo Rotruz In December 2014 the band enters the studio to record music "Brainwashing" made at the invitation of Marivan producer to participate in the volume 19 Rock Soldiers, again released by the disccos UGK in March 2015.

The Rotruz band recorded the music video clip Brainwashing with the direction of Julitos Koba officially released on August 15, 2015 by the band's YouTube channel.

Currently the band is getting a makeover phase due to the departure of bassist Scott, and is preparing to enter the studio again to record their first album entitled "Real World."

The group has been performing original work with a strong influence of Hardcore / Punk Rock, letters based on the life and daily life with a lot of attitude and responsibility.
