Aleja Vargas is a DJ who has managed to deeply connect with the Colombian electronic music scene, standing out for her energy and unique style. With over 11 years of experience, she has had the opportunity to share her music at some of the most important clubs and festivals in the country.
Over the years, she has shaped her musical approach within genres such as Techno, Hardgroove, Acid Techno, and Hard-techno, always aiming to invite the audience to deeply connect with the music through dance. Her style is characterized by an unmistakable blend of percussive rhythms, atmospheric sounds, and a vibrant groove that inspires both movement and introspection.
Aleja has captivated audiences with her ability to create intense atmospheres, taking her art beyond Colombia’s borders, performing in countries like Panama and Ecuador.
The focus of her musical proposal goes beyond technique and sound: her true passion lies in creating a deep connection with the audience through music, crafting moments where dancing becomes a shared experience.
For her, each set is an opportunity to bring people together and guide them on a journey where rhythm and collective energy become a universal language.
As co-founder of One 60 Collective and member of Techsound Records, Alejandra Vargas continues to affirm an increasingly powerful presence in the global electronic music scene, taking center stage at major festivals such as Radikal Styles, Techsound Fest, Bogotrax, and Black Box Festival, where she has thrilled crowds with her explosive sets.
As an artist, she has had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of the most prominent names in the international scene, including The Geezer, Detroit Techno Militia, Magda, Thomas Schumacher, Angerfist, Lenny Dee, Cassie Raptor, C-System, DJ Agent Orange, Ayako Mori, Marika Rossa, Suburbass, Sonico, Barbers, Dica, Diogo Ramos, Kai Tracid, Fatima Hajji, Lukas, Zisko, Fernanda Martins, Lady Maru, Viper XXL, Samantha Togni, Lucinee, Roberto Capuano, and Vextax, among many others.
Her career has also been reflected through various productions and releases on labels such as LW Recordings, Techsound Records, Hardcodelia Records, Pure Enjoyment, Green Kiwi Records, and Worms Records, solidifying her position as a producer within the music industry.
Her ongoing dedication to perfecting her craft and her commanding stage presence continue to inspire new generations of music and art enthusiasts. She has also ventured into DJ education, contributing to various academies in the city such as DJ Academy and Yin Yang.
