A year of discoveries. Thinking back through the last year, there has been a plethora of fantastic labels, and artists that have passed under the Sundays banner. This Sunday and month in general also marks the second year of monthly playlists, and guest mixes. The latter of which is our focus for today as we welcome an incredible producer, Inhmost. From beat to beat-less, his refined approach to crafting ambient mixes provides listeners with auditory tales that flow so well, all while working in a variety of moods and feelings. This mix provides in spades, as such we’re incredibly happy to soundtrack this Sunday morning with Inhmost.

Berton

Amsterdam based Berton delivers a one hour club mix which rises slowly but surely, focused on electro, bass and techno. 
Slow and deep rhythms are impressed on a canvas of nocturnal atmospheres, tributing the dark essence of this mix series.

Italian DJ and radio host Berton has been contributing to the Dutch scene since 2017, with a residency on Red Light Radio. She is currently hosting the À La Carte series on RRFM and Risveglio Muscolare on Radio Raheem.

And, while the dance floor is just a distant memory, she is working on several projects aiming to offer alternative settings where to enjoy music as a collective experience, including the monthly radio slot “Risveglio Muscolare” at the Milan based Radio Raheem.

A unwelcome sight greeted him this morning when he woke up. The house seemed quieter than usual, the buzz of the radio wasn't ringing through the house, no smell of coffee filling the air, and the pointed telling offs and rallying of small voices nowhere to be heard. Descending the stairs he noticed things had gone missing; pictures had been pulled off the walls, ornaments taken from the sideboards, but worst of all there was no sign of his family. A sinking feeling hit him like a punch in the gut - deep down he knew they weren't coming back...

On the next release from the Programm camp, and the first from the label this year, producer Rawtrachs draws inspiration from J Dilla samples. Marking his debut single on the London-based imprint, ‘It’s Just a Rinse’ is a pounding lo-fi cut that comes complete with two reworks from Sneaker Social Club affiliate Thugwidow and OfParadise co-founder Fade, who take their remixes in different directions - Thugwidow upping the ante and Fade stripping back the original and adding signature percussive touches.

The artwork for this digital release is the label's first generative cover. Made in a similar way to digital music, alongside artists Matt Heywood and Alfie Allen, Programm have created a new tool to combine human and computer input to create visuals that could only exist together.

Manchester’s Mercy System debuts on Of Paradise with Procedures, a unique, intricate, boundary-blurring excursion through the heart of UK bass, dubstep, and garage. Comprised of four thought-provoking and immersive compositions, Procedures feels almost monolithic in its sound, evoking vivid images of space, rugged landscapes, and dimly lit venues.

This is intelligent, forward-thinking dance music. A set of alien transmissions, reinterpreted and reconstructed for the club, and the perfect new addition to the label’s ever-evolving library.
