Rising from the streets of Newark but with a distinct Eastern Flair, rapper Steven Live laid his introspective rhymes atop melodic/Hardcore Hip Hop, resulting in a hybrid form that captured the ears of Jersey. In a big year for the rising MC, he released his 2022 City rocking joint mix tape, "973 STRICTLY FOR THE CITY," featuring Artist BOYWONDERR which landed on 8 Squad Rebel Radio.

Influenced by artists such as Lil Frizz, Grumpy Old Man, Rick Ross, and Lil Durk (as well as the stylings of Atlanta trap and Chicago drill and underground Rap), Live began recording in his bedroom at the age of 12, Finding his home studio at "The Clubhouse" On Spruce St. His debut effort, “973”, arrived in late 2022.

Atlanta-based rapper Matrell brings a high-energy flow, slick bars and bags of charm to the Gen Z hip-hop landscape.
 
Born to a Black father and mixed-race mother (with French, Italian, Lebanese and Ivorian roots), Matrell began making music in eighth grade, crafting beats and recording songs after school. He credits his music producer father for encouraging him to make music: “My dad had me in front of the piano before I could even walk. I’d go to the studio with him as a kid. He taught me how to make beats. I gravitated towards it, realized it came naturally to me, and I kept going.”
 
Since he makes his own beats, records his own vocals and pens his own bars, Matrell belongs to the self-made legion of multi-creative artists making music on their own terms. The ambitious young rapper says: “I like growth in my music. I always wanna get my ideas out. When I make a song, I’ll usually start out making the beat, and out of nowhere, the rest will come to me.”
