Far and wide, this project was conceived, composed and refined with an unfrightened attitude delving into complex and ambitious frequency twisters. Dubmentalist audiolizes deep thoughts, then converts what comes out of his imagination into concrete beasts. A magical cryptic enigma we must resolve.
It's important to mention an additional challenge Dubmentalist came accross. By composing each track on a different note, he reaches out most of the spectrum and tones of the scale.

From the hyptnotic tweets of "Blueprint“ to the plunging melodies of “Supernatural" over to the organic grooves of “Tetrahedron“, this one could very well hold the second part of Dubmentalist's first album "Planetoid". From New Zealand, Graysound came to us with this hybrid project, especially designed for his own sound system. This playlist will inevitably push subwoofers to their limits. Even tho the project is vocal intensive, the great balance between electronic and acoustic frequencies forges a distinctive sound. Each track is unique, backed by your classical reggae vibes and a flavour of darkness, it's your choice whether to shift to the other side. Strong bonds and collaborations arise for the creation of this piece, Natty Campbell, Rider Shafique, Wreckage, Dark Entity, SKG's Dub Alliance, Young Gho$t, L Nix and Rains all took part in this journey individually raising the bar higher which increased the potential of each artist in their own area of expertise. The combination of all these different styles denominated the "Champion Sound", a proposal we could never reject. An original blend pushing our sound above limits and accross borders.

Internal Frequency - Marauders

Steven Lorenz is a founding member of Intransikbeats Records and owner of Iron Shirt Recordings. Producing and performing Techno and Dubstep. Having grown up in Asia, Intransikbeats label head Steven Lorenz was part of Shanghai's alternative music scene for many years.

A key influence of his was the Shelter in Shanghai where he found his roots in Dubstep and his musical home. He immersed himself in the sub heavy, syncopated beats that he heard there whilst refining his DJ and production skills. His formative year's were spent delving into the sound, ultimately leading to his residency at the Shelter where he supported the likes of Pinch, Kode 9, Goldie, The Bug, Shackelton, Desto, Tes Larok, Caspa, Jack Sparrow, Stagga, ScratchaDVA, Addison Groove and many more...

His interest in aggressive low frequency tones and minimalistic drum patterns lead to him expanding his artistic horizon towards Techno. He pursued this sound intensively in his productions and in his DJ sets. 2015 saw the release of his first LP on D.M.T. Records which distilled a year's worth of experiences and inspiration into 7 diverse and intelligently crafted Techno tracks. 
Now residing in Europe he wants to spread his vision of Techno through Intransikbeats Records and dubstep through Ironshirt Recordings.
