World famous vocalist Microsoft Sam is back! After being instrumental in the development and release of Windows Vista, for which Microsoft Sam was widely cited as one of the main selling points of the operating system, Sam chose to spend a brief eleven year long sabbatical with his family, pursuing various hobbies such as embarking on a brief acting career, giving promotional talks on his YouTube channel, and making several stand-up appearances on the world stage at the Open Microphone Comedy Festival. He even had a brief 6 year long career at a local Walmart to, in his own words, "better understand the working class of America".

"Yes, I've always been interested in music. I wrote several songs during my time on Windows XP, but just never had the time to record anything. I'm happy that I can finally pursue my one true passion."

Launching his first promotional single off of his debut album "My World", Microsoft Sam has been wowing audiences worldwide for years with his deep and luscious voice, with a timbre that has been compared to Barry White. He prides himself on not using any autotune whatsoever in his productions, and believes an all-natural sound has been instrumental (or should I say, non-instrumental? haha) to his success. Tickets are now available for Microsoft Sam's 2019 world tour. Hurry! Due to Microsoft Sam's popularity, tickets may very well sell out soon!

(UPDATE 05/06/2018: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Microsoft Sam. He was found unresponsive in his apartment this morning by a friend of the family and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. He is survived by his wife Mary and his son Mike. His family has requested that their privacy be respected in this time of great sadness. A memorial concert is being planned in his memory for this Sunday, and tickets are on now on sale. All proceeds will be donated to the Society for the Prevention of Suicide)

(UPDATE 05/07/2018: The memorial concert has unfortunately been postponed due to scheduling conflicts and tickets are no longer on sale. Any tickets which may have been purchased will be refunded)

Project #3 - Quiet City

My apartment is in front of a small river/lake, and every summer there has been a cute couple of swans. Actually swans are monogamic, once they have chosen a partner they stay together their entire life. 

I was expecting them back this spring ... but only one of them was coming. I have seen him at all the places they always shared together, and he always seemed to look for her. But she was not coming, and I don't know what happened to her. It was so sad! 

This swan belongs to the family of "Mute Swans" (Cygnus Olor). They are completely silent during their lifetime until the moment just before death, when the swan sings one beautiful song.

In autumn the other swans prepared for their anual flight to warmer regions, but the sad swan was not with them, and hence I wondered was happened to him. 

One night in late golden october, one of those few where the summer rears up a last time, I woke up by a strange sound. I went to my balcony, the lake in silver moonlight in front of me ... with the swan in the middle. 

And than I heard it ... the most beautiful and saddest melody in the world. Obviously the swan was singing the story of his life, and it was full of melancholy, so much about missing her and the moments they shared together as a loving couple. 

This was the last time I had seen the swan. When I went back in the room I immediately tried to note down the melody I had heard, and I need to excuse that due to my inconsiderable musical abilities this song here is only a cheap imitation ... but I hope you can get at least a glance.
