Yesterday my ear was in some pain. Today the pain is gone and to test out my ear I decided to go for a mashup between my favorite song off James Landino's EP "Transition" (which you can get from here: https://jameslandino.bandcamp.com/, entitled "Hold My Hand" (with Andy Tunstall at the guitars) and the ever great song by Daft Punk "Something About Us" (remember that?) 
Something simple, maybe a bit raw also, but I'm really happy how it did turn out. I think I should do more mashups in the future.

Lethargy

This track is an effort to paint the Hell of the north in music. Every part of the instrumentation represents what the riders experience on their way from Compiègne to the velodrome in Roubaix. 
The double kick drums is the relentless hammering of the cobbles through your front wheel and into your body, the tempo of the track matches the epileptic cadence you have to push to fight for position at the front of the pack. Every cymbal hit is the sound of another rider crashing out of the race. The composition, inspired by Vivaldis Opus #8, tells emotions of hope, despair, crushed dreams and it incorporates the very foundation of Paris Roubaix: Never give up.
