It’s been a great year for Apollo 84 (@apollo-house), with his energetic and thumping signature sound landing him releases with esteemed imprints including Madtech, Sanity, Lapsus Music, Elrow Music, and Material to name a few. That’s not to mention releasing on and running his own Twisted Fusion imprint, which has gone form strength to strength since its inception just one year ago, featuring artists including Philip Bader, System2, Dantiez Saunderson, Jey Kurmis, DeMarzo, and Jacky.

The EP kicks off with title track ‘Toasted’, a high energy stomper with infectious percussion, nasty vocal hooks and a chunky low end to boot. Next up ‘Freaky Deal’ sets a more sinister tone, using dark synths over a tight rhythm track and warped vocal sample culminating in a peak time groover. Warriors resident and VIVa veteran SEFF adds his flavour to ‘Freaky Deal’ next, which sees him bring down the tempo and introduce a new syncopated rhythm track whilst maintaining the sinister tone of the original. The EP concludes with ‘All Groove With It’, framing classic New York influences within the context of modern tech house.
