BIOGRAPHY (ENG)
At the end of 2009 Matteo Del Ferraro (guitar), Federico Bardzki (bass) and Emiliano Paola (drums), decided to quit with the adventure of their former band and to start anew with another one. The purpose of the foundation of the new band, that still didn't have a name, was initially to realize a simpler and more direct project than the previous one, with thrash-oriented german – Bay Area style compositions, hoping to record a debut-EP in a short time. Soon, however, their ideas for the new formed band changed and they started to look around them in search of a vocalist and a secon guitarist, which were quickly found in Antonio De Simone (guitars), he too coming from the split-up of his former band, and Alessandro (vocals). From this moment on the band choose the name “Profiles In Terror”, and started to work on their first raw compositions, oriented to death metal and thrash metal. Three years passed by and the band kept refining their composition and performing live, but soon became evident the lack of motivations of the singer, that lead to him quiting with the band.
In 2012 the band found a new stability with the entry of the singer Emanuele Capelli. The new vocalist represented a decise turning point for the band, as well as an injection of motivations and new ideas. Compositions were now even darker, influenced by a range of genres and bands, going from Pantera and Lamb Of God, to Scandinavian Death and Black Metal. The cohesion and synergy of the band during the live performances was also much more evident than ever with the new singer.
In 2013 Profiles In Terror eventually decided to fulfill the early objective and entered the studio to record their first 6-tracks EP. For over a year, between a live and another, facing loads of organisation and communication issues, they brought on recordings that led to the first-born release of the band.
In the October of 2014 First copies of the EP  “A Painful Birth” (an emblematic name, for sure) were printed and with great satisfaction distributed among the fans.
