In place of a screaming guitar, insert a melodic bass. When you think the verse is building into a stadium anthem, relax & settle into a groove with a swirling falsetto vocal hook. This track has both electronic beats & acoustic drums, hard hitting lyrics & gentle melodies, piano riffs & mesmerizing synths, verses that resemble Rap countered by Soul-inspired choruses, thoughtful guitar playing, and tight harmonies. This is Nevruary: a band rooted in rock but not limited to the genre.

Since their formation in 2013, this Los Angeles foursome has released two full albums, performed extensively at clubs in & around Hollywood (House of Blues, The Viper Room, Universal Studios, Vaucluse Lounge, Amplyfi), and received college radio play from many different stations throughout the United States.

I’ve been on Broadway, done two broadway national tours, and had kidney stones… twice. I’m addicted to golf and know way too many random stats about professional basketball! Go Suns! I also write music and sing. It makes perfect sense!

If Bryan Adams, Train and Keith Urban were all sent to Mars and Earth needed someone to fill the void that would surely be left without them… they’d recommend everyone listen to Harley Jay.

After touring for a year and a half as Mark Cohen in the hit rock musical RENT, Harley jumped on the offer to play the same role on Broadway for the next year. Once his stint in RENT had ended Harley released his first record “Without Wax” and moved to Los Angeles. The record caught the ear of Gotizm Records owner Del Williams and within weeks of being on the west coast Harley had secured an opening spot on tour with Grammy winner James Otto.

“Some of the catchiest songs and one of the best voices I’ve heard in a long time.  He could give Rascal Flatts a run for their money” said Williams.

After his time with Otto, Harley jumped back into the studio and later released his sophomore record “Lifted Me From Lonely.” The title track from the record garnished Harley radio play on 95.5 KLOS Heidi and Frank in the morning…

Since the release, Harley has shared the stage with The Gin Blossoms, Marc Broussard, Wilson Phillips, American Idol winner Kris Allen, Rick Springfield and former Wings guitar player and Grammy winner Laurence Juber.

“But wait, Harley! What about your theater background, have you just left that in the dust forever?” Absolutely not.

Recently, Harley not only performed in but also produced the world premiere cast album of the critically acclaimed LA musical, ModRock. Covering famous hits from the Kinks, Hermans Hermits, Dusty Springfield, the Yardbirds and other popular UK bands.

…I’m a huge donut fan. I like motorcycles, bulldogs, beagles and anything Apple related. I’ve got the best family in the world and I have naturally curly hair but I straighten it almost everyday because I like it better that way. If none of that is impressive enough, my grandpa was best friends with Steve McQueen…yeah, THAT Steve McQueen.

Ceasefire is the dynamic alternative rock outfit comprised of Ray Alexander (vocals), Kamren Alexander (guitar) and Anthony Hainsworth (drums). While the band’s name may indicate a pause in action, the music is an expression of the human experience and calls for us all to take movement against injustice.
 
Formed in 2011 in Orange County, CA, Ceasefire quickly gained attention for their incredible live performances packing venues throughout Southern California.  In 2012, the OC Weekly Music Awards named the trio “Best Live Band”.  Their 2013 debut EP, garnered critical success with lead single "Wake Up" being added to rotation on KROQ's "Locals Only Show" and dominated the local airwaves by staying on the station for a record breaking 21 weeks in the top 5 most requested songs. 
 
Ceasefire is set to release their most ambitious work to date, a six song EP entitled “Gravity” influenced by psychedelic classic rock and 80s pop and dance music. The result is a unique blend of ambient synths, clashing melodic guitar riffs and warm vocals; a perfect blend of organic sounds with modern electronic textures.   
 
Thematically the EP touches upon clinging to love and hope even in the harsh reality of the world we live in today, “we were all overwhelmed by our nation's political direction and felt that our society was going backwards instead of forwards.” confides Kamren Alexander. With “Peace. Love & Reality”, Ceasefire hopes the music will inspire listeners to believe in themselves and take action towards acts of love despite being in a world full of divisiveness.
 
Single Gravity chronicles holding on to a dissipating love and vocalizing devotion even in a time of helplessness.  With a climatic chorus and an energetic driving drumbeat, Gravity is the perfect summer anthem. On Out of Time, Ceasefire demonstrates what they do so well, create a larger than life alternative hit that is approachable yet still experimental. 
 
Ceasefire has shared the stage with such notable acts as Everclear, Daughtry, and LMFAO.  Their music has seen numerous placements including being featured on episodes of MTV's “The Hills”, “The City”, “The Real World” and many more. Ceasefire's music has also been used in a nationally run commercial for Lipton Iced Tea and their single "Joyride" will be featured in a highly anticipated upcoming feature film.
