The second in the artist Insights mix, aimed at bringing the artist profile to the fore, diving into the sounds that both influence and comprise their own.

In a time of lean-back playlist listening, it's important to give due attention and credit to the composers, musicians and producers that make up our vast musical world. This series hopes to not only showcase music favoured by the artist, but also help connect the dots between their sound and that of the musical network that surrounds them.

A stunning variety of influences make up Henrik's mix, spanning decades of musical innovators. In the opening half, Henrik's compositional mastery can be heard amongst the experimentation of composers like György Ligeti and Philip Glass, while his knack for calm, emotive movement shows itself in the selected pieces by the Eno brothers. The second half tips a hat to some great artists outside the classical sphere, moving through Jean-Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk and The Beatles. Together, these far-reaching selections make for an inquisitively engaging journey, showcasing quality in all its forms.
