For this track I used volca drum for the lofi beat as I've often done lately. Many of the synth lines are made with the minilogue xd, but I also tested out a modern wavetable vst (vital), a type of synthesis I haven't yet experimented with much. You can hear it in the deep resonant line that comes in for the final minute or so. I'm looking forward to further experimenting with it!

The photo is from a  strange national park in Utah called Goblin Valley  that has a lot of interesting rock forms. I spent some time camping with friends there years ago, though I didn't take this particular photo.

Alien Landscapes

What an honor to be invited to collaborate with ace guitarist, composer, and producer Seagull to create a moving tribute and memorial to the people of Ukraine; those who have been displaced, those who chose to remain, those who have perished in the senseless, needless war, especially the children. In life everything is a beginning. There is always a first time for everything, and seeing my daughters grow up and experiment and see new things and games, made me remember the adventurers who discovered something for the first time: a new landscape, a new pyramid, a new invention, a continent. unknown by who discovers it....

That inspired me in this composition.

Never use so many harps in the same composition.

My ipad was saturated and did not allow to clearly hear what I was doing until I converted it to a wav file.

18 native instrument tracks from Music Studio2 and forum Xewton and 10 tracks from KV331.

Made on ipad and mixed in my car. As a curiosity, this was one of the first compositions that I mixed in the car that I had then, when I put BT in it (I used a Parrot kit), since originally it did not incorporate it. For the most curious ... it was an Opel Vectra.
