Driven by a passion for solid grooves, intricate rhythms, beautiful chord progressions, and captivating melodies, Steve Sving seamlessly bridges the gap between mainstream anthems and the groovy underground. He’s known for adding his signature ‘swing’ to every performance, delivering a dynamic 4x4 mix that blends his original tracks with rare edits, often laced with an acid touch or a distinctive twist.

A drummer at heart, Steve has a deep love for the sounds of bongos, cowbells, and intricate drumlines. Born in the '80s and raised in the '90s, his enthusiasm for electro and acid music is undeniable. With a master's degree in classical music, he possesses a finely tuned ear for melody and harmony.

Though Steve Sving is a relatively new name in the scene, his two-decade career as a percussionist, drummer, and DJ spans multiple genres—from symphonic orchestras and rock/metal bands to electronic projects and even musical theatre. He now embarks on his solo journey, eagerly anticipating the release of more original work.

In 2024, Steve was awarded the Cultural Prize 'Cultuurparel Muziek' in Beringen, Belgium. His talent has earned him top rankings in the electronic music world, including 2nd place in the Je m'en Fish Electronica Contest (2006) and 3rd place at the Cutting Edge Awards 'Talent of the Year' (2012). As a classical percussionist, he has been recognized multiple times as both a Provincial and National Laureate at the KMVB (formerly VLAMO).

Steve’s journey is a testament to his dedication, artistry, and a relentless pursuit of sound that moves both body and soul.
