Helder Martinovsky is a Brazilian multimedia artist and composer based in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina. His work ranges from experimental cinema, sound art and improvised music, often exploring natural landscapes and unconventional sounds. He began his sound work in 1987 playing drums in hard core bands such as Necrobutcher, S.R.M.P., Paresthesic Neurodeformities. He is a self-taught researcher in the field of sound art, noise and free improvisation. Animal abolitionism is present in almost all his work and life.

I make music about the Thelemic path, and other life experiences.

Best enjoyed in a quiet, dark room with your eyes closed, for maximum absorption. 

Electronic noise and metal influences with occult themes.

I mostly use koala and spire on my phone with garage band on my computer as an occasional recorder for guitars, bass and synthesizers. Sometimes I’ll play around with SunVox and LSDJ. Now I have some Pocket Operators, and a KORG Monotron Delay to add to the mix.

An eclectic, post-industrial amalgamation of all of my favorite musical influences and genres. I enjoy making layers of textures, using found sounds from life. I'll often make a beat, just to completely destroy it again later in the song.
