CHI WOW WAH RADIO episode 012 features Husa & Zeyada live with their set recorded from the Hypestream: at Red Canyon, Nuweiba, Egypt. 

Husa & Zeyada's sound simmers towards indie-rock dance electronica, draped in English and Arabic lyrics, open for experimentation. This inward trip is also visual - in an ongoing comic parallel world, Husa & Zeyada give center-stage to the more curious and peculiar parts of their selves. Each release is accompanied by illustrated stories of the little creatures that inhabit our minds; the ones that spring from our subconscious, shaped by pressures and desires. These characters explore what happens when we listen to the creative monsters under our skin.

Bespoke Musik Founder Rocky recorded a set at his new Residency, providing the downtempo, loungey soundtrack for the gorgeous tán Restaurant's speakeasy lounge, lúm. The 3 hours of groovy, swingy vibes in this mix were inspired by Tulum organic / melodic house, Latin house, Afro house, deep house, some disco flavors, and a bit of indie dance. A melting pot, if you will. 🖤

Join us at lúm, every Friday and Saturday evening : 9pm - 1am with Rocky and Friends. Tucked away with covered, cave-like ceilings, warm candlelight, and over 200 types of mezcal and tequila, lúm boasts a worldly beverage program focused on agave-centric cocktails that erase the usual borders between a kitchen and bar.

The modernist, seafood-focused menu by renowned Chefs Richard Sandoval and Jonatán Gómez Luna Torres features coastal Mexican fare with rebellious and bold flavors that were inspired by their travels and heritage.

Welcome to the TrebleMakers Sound Camp!

Meet Istanbul based producer, DJ, label owner and filmmaker Emiran.

He studied classical piano in his early ages and continued his musical journey exploring Turkish traditional folk music which he is inspired by a lot. Today with Emiran project, he focuses on crafting authentic sounds that brings the timeless and modern together from a diverse compilation of samples, acoustic compositions and digital experimentations. Currently, his creative explorations are mainly focused on electronica, downtempo and melodic techno genres, delightfully combining his influence from modern jazz, world and minimal sounds. 

Rather than sticking to specific definitions of genres, he often fearlessly experiments with different musical styles and bends them into each other in order to express the core essence of the stories he wants to tell. Thus, he is in a continuous search to seek clarity within the oversaturated contemporary culture in his own, diverse way.

He is still managing his label and production company Akustikhane where he is trying to put a spotlight on established and emerging artists worldwide.

New Years Day 2024 was a very special occasion as it marked exactly one year since the first ever Bambu Huts party, it's hard to believe it's only been 52 sundays since we opened.. so much has happened, so many great memories already that it seems like a lifetime! 

To commemorate this milestone I played a timeless set of my very best musical gems, personal favourites, island classics and deep, sexy house music all the way.. This was an unforgettable night in the Playgirl Mansion and the perfect way to welcome in the new year and celebrate all we've achieved in our first cycle around the sun!

An artist with a difference, Stevie Keys is an accomplished DJ who draws on his classical background to perform live piano over his sets, as well as a renowned producer with a history of releasing house music going back 20 years. You might not realise it but if you’ve been on a dancefloor in recent years you’re likely to be familiar with Stevie’s production as his original tracks have been released on some of the hottest labels around, licensed to over 100 compilations worldwide and supported by the world’s biggest DJ’s, such as Carl Cox, Pete Tong and Armin Van Buuren.

Born in Australia and always obsessed with music, Stevie Keys first trained as a classical pianist, before moving on to study sound engineering and completing a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance. By the age of 18 he had a record deal as a solo artist and had performed all over Australia, supporting artists such as Bjork and The Prodigy on their tours of the Southern Hemisphere.

Moving to London at the age of 19 he went on to record under various artist names including Antartica (for seminal UK dance label React), Altitude (Bonzai Records/ Sony), Sound of Soho (with Eye Industries/ Universal) and Tremor (for the influential Progressive House imprint Platipus).

Some career highlights include cowriting songs with legendary artists such as Nile Rodgers & Bernard Summers, remixing for the likes of James Brown, hosting a weekly radio show on DI.FM (one of the pioneering internet stations for electronic music) compiling and mixing compilation albums such as The Art of Chill (Sony) and producing several underground club hits that broke into the UK singles chart and were subsequently licensed to major labels such as Sony and Universal.

Now resident in Koh Phangan, Thailand which is famous for the Full Moon Party but is also becoming a popular destination on the international DJ circuit. In 2015 he created the now legendary Why Nam day party, before moving on to found Bambu Huts, which is fast becoming one of the most popular music venues in Thailand. 

Finally settled in this tropical island paradise after years of travelling the world, Stevie Keys is the resident DJ/ musical director of Bambu Huts, where he created The Sunday Session in 2023. This weekly event quickly established itself as the premier party on the island and is famous for having a distinct & sophisticated sound focused on afro, organic & deep house. Here Stevie plays extended sets with live musicians every week alongside illustrious guests such as Chus & La Santa (Redolent/ Stereo Productions), Djuma Soundsystem (Iziki Global), Igor Marijuan (Akasha Ibiza), DJ Ino (Cafe de Anatolia), Rezident (Anjunadeep) and many others.
