The long anticipated collaboration between Mexico City-based Theus Mago & Berlin’s Curses is finally here, bringing their punk and psychedelic rock-infused dark club music to light. The two producers joined forces when shit hit the fan during the beginning of the pandemic, eager for a return to the clubs. ‘Antídoto’ EP is a cocktail of musical styles; nostalgic and futuristic, dubby and punky, noisy and moody. Life And Death founder DJ Tennis is back on his home ground for the first time in 8 years, bringing Melbourne's finest new gen producer Luke Alessi to the party. For their first studio collaboration, they deliver an ecstatic floor-driven bomb with winks at early 90s house, all within a contemporary sound palette. 

With its pumping groove, rapturous stabs, and hallucinatory acid notes, the record is poignantly tied together via heavy tribal drums and euphoric vocal samples. “Dale Dale” is a late-night to early-morning anthem that should keep the neighbors awake all summer. 

Already part of the Life and Death family since his 2023 breakthrough release “Bey Beh,” Luke Alessi’s music sits in its own lane, refusing to be pigeonholed into any conventional genre. Aircraft Reel and Fanjoyen are the original cuts of the ep, built under a line clearly focused on the dance floor and with a fine balance between the early hours of the night or those of a good after. The remixes come in charge of the Mexicans Rigopolar and Colossio, both well known in the scene and with a great doing in all their productions. Also the Italians Younger Than Me, more focused this time on their sound '90's rave' than in previous productions, and the French Dombrance, component of the band DBFC and Recently interviewed by strong media like Vanity Fair or the television channel France 24 by the success of their new album, ''Raffarin'' they will also be able to listen to the work of DBFC in the Gucci Men's Fall / Winter 2014-15 Runway Show! Stavros Potamitis (aka Stevie R) conjures emotion and weaves sonic tales by combining the rebetiko folk music of his Greek homeland with analogue electronics. Working with a range of collaborators he offers forward thinking, avant-garde music and daring, theatrical live performances that freely blend and cross over between musical styles. As well as being a musician, producer and performer, Stevie is a lecturer at Point Blank Music College in London, runs his own record label Inside Out Records and is A & R of Chapter 24 Records. Always looking to push musical and sonic boundaries, he is just as relentlessly focused on moving things forward in his own work as he is committed to supporting the next generations to break through.
