From Macedonia to Atlanta, Bobi Stevkovski, is the clear example of these artists, who have musicality in their blood; appearing around the 2000's in his native country, showing his talent in clubs and bars of Macedonia.
Shortly after he moved to the United States, more exactly to Atlanta GA. There, he developed his talent even more and became a reference for underground music.
Founder of Project B, event promoter that provides a platform for local artists and that in its trajectory includes international artists such as Arapu, Alci, Sepp, Mihigh, Raresh, Direkt, Crihan, Mihai Pol, Varhat, Janeret, Nu Zau among others. Project b, has been the catapult for their festival ZEMYA, a festival that revolves around the connection with nature, with the earth.

1hr & 30 something minutes of my 4hrs set in Lima on January 9th 2015. Secret location, super high ceilings, lots of cool faces, door-less restrooms, freedom of speech & behaviors, simply an evening of strictly good vibes. I know that not many of you will have time to listen to the entire set of 4 hrs so I cut it up just for ya.  So indeed, it was a very special night to end my 3 weeks tour for 5 gigs in Peru. One special morning in Tulum

It is okay not to be okay, and I am not okay while writing this. I am grieving the sudden loss of a friend whom I considered, and always will consider, a brother. Someone close to my heart and my soul. The pain is unlike any other, a forever scar I will carry from not having him in my life. He was loved by so many, known for nothing but his joyous smile and pure heart of gold. Fly high, Miloše, brate moj. I love you with all my might.

On Saturday, August 23rd, we gathered at Block&Drum in Chamblee to honor him and his spirit through music and togetherness. The set I played came straight from the heart, an ode to him and to the special bond we shared. This is the live, unedited recording.

I ventured into different musical worlds with a goal to bring them together in my very own, emotional way that’ll soothe your mind, body and soul. I sourced inspiration from my roots, my motherland Macedonia so I mostly used Macedonian music. Finding the special musical connection between my favorite Macedonian artists and some of my favorite electronic and world music artists was truly amazing. 🙏🏼♥️💫

Crosstown Rebels’ offshoot label Rebellion inaugurates their 2021 release schedule next January with a four-track EP from @yokoo. Titled "Jivanmuktih", the release includes a collaboration with Atlanta-based artist Bobi @stevkovski.

Speaking on the release, YokoO described how the current circumstances helped his creativity, stating: “Following months of stillness away from touring life’s noise, disconnected from technologies and attuned to a profound state of presence in nature, I returned to my studio inspired and determined to create music that is different to what I had been known for. This EP showcases the continuation of my exploration through sounds as I transition further into my creative Self.” 

Higher State leads proceedings and showcases the French-native at his best. Shimmering synths reside atop a punchy four-four bassline, whilst whispering hats echo softly in the background. The EP’s collaborative effort comes next in the form of Spiritus Sexualem, which sees Bobi Stevkovski appear alongside. Stripped-back and spacious, reverberating vocals create an ethereal feel as minimal kick-hat combos round off the club-ready cut. Finis comes next, a progressive dancefloor number that features starry, emotion-fuelled chords before the title track brings things to a close with dubby kicks, soft pads and soothing vocal tones.

France’s YokoO is an esteemed talent in the melodic techno scene. Releases on Lee Burridge’s iconic All Day I Dream imprint, as well as M.A.N.D.Y.’s Get Physical, have cemented his reputation for all things deep, emotive and dreamy, whilst performances across all five continents have highlighted him as a truly global artist. Atlanta-based Bobi Stevkovski continues to establish his presence in the electronic music realm. A good friend of the French artist, Bobi is the founder of both Zemya Fest and Project B.
