Der Text, einst schon von Dian the Saint mit scharfer Feder geschmiedet, wurde neu gewandet, parfümiert mit Sarkasmus und satirisch gebügelt – doch nun, mit dieser engelsgleichen Stimme versehen, wird das Ganze zur höfischen Täuschung höchster Kunst.

Sie singt vom Adelspack, das in Gänsefett badet, während das Volk hungert – doch du merkst es kaum, denn ihre Stimme streichelt dich wie Lavendelduft auf einem Scheiterhaufen. Sie singt vom heutigen Herrscherpack in Anzügen, das unter dem Deckmantel der Demokratie das gleiche Spiel treibt – und du lächelst noch, während du langsam verstehst: „Moment… das geht ja um mich.“

Wenn sie vom „Freund und Helfer“ erzählt, der heute lieber tritt als hilft, klingt es so freundlich, dass du dich fast freiwillig festnehmen lassen willst – nur um noch einen Refrain zu hören.

Und wenn sie zum Ende kommt, da wird nicht geschluchzt, nicht geheult. Da sagt diese zarte Stimme, dass wir die Lügner zwar über Bord werfen können – doch die Lüge schwimmt weiter. Und sie sagt es mit einer derartigen Sanftheit, dass du plötzlich begreifst: Der eigentliche Dolch steckt nicht im Rücken, sondern im Ton.

Denn hier wird nicht gebrüllt. Hier wird gelächelt, während das System filetiert wird.
Hier singt keine Revoluzzerin im Kettenhemd.
Hier singt eine Elfe – mit einer Klinge zwischen den Stimmbändern.
