Iñigo and Daniel are the two faces of this Spanish duo born in 2012. Since then, their productions and sessions as a DJ, strongly marked by their own way of understanding music, cross borders and dance on five continents.

Listening to them is not an easy task to label them. Their music and their performances propose a journey full of energy and emotions that connects with those who listen; a journey with a soundtrack that starts from house and reaches on techno, with a progressive direction and scales on afro rhythms.

1. Where do you get your inspiration from?
 
“Almost everything from intense and fascinating things. Mystical stories and things that are unique. I like contrasts and strong emotions and I usually try to capture these things and make something out of them.”
 
2. What, for you, is the purpose of art?
 
“I think there is no real purpose except expression maybe.”
 
3. In which ways could the scene improve in the future?
 
“In my eyes the production standard became very high in the past years, which is a result of the improving technical options and a good thing. But I also like trying out things, going different ways. I was recording a track with a ragga MC, and it turned out shit. But yeah sometimes you even have shit ideas. I think it would be interesting for the scene if we listen also to other world music. Music is some form of conversation. We all know that one song which describes a feeling so exactly. And when there is more influence from different genres we maybe learn something really new.”
 
4. What do you love most about being an artist?
 
“For sure hanging out at the studio and traveling. I am really a studio guy. I can spend hours there just tweaking my Clap. But also traveling for sure. Meeting other people, different food.”

5. What makes you laugh?
 
“Brooklyn 99.”

What do you do to get into a creative state? 
 "Before we start a studio session or dj set we smoke a joint and have a chat. "

What do you love most about being an artist? 
"To be an artist is a privilege to do things however you like."

How do you stay focused in a world of constant distraction? 
"It’s not easy to be honest. We try to calm down regularly, hang out with friends or just do nothing. It’s really important to have your quality &/or me time and seperate your privacy from public. "

Do you have a morning routine?
Ilu: "Mine is relatively simple. Wake up, drink a coffee, go for a walk with my dog and drink another coffee. "
Aaye: "I try to find my morning routine but basically I wake up, take a big breakfast with a lot of coffee and listen to music."

What, for you, is the purpose of art?
"For us the sense of art is the enjoyment! "

What is sacred to you?
"As we already told you quality & me time is very important to recover. Without this we wouldn’t be creative anymore."

What is your opinion on failure? 
"As stupid as that may sound, failure is incredibly important. Only from this can you gain experience and develop yourself further."

What would your 16 year old you think about what you’re doing today?
"A dream comes true."
