Steyoyoke Black returns with an exciting EP titled “Protocol”. A breathtaking collaboration by Arude and Binaryh. The collision of two powers perfectly reflects in the immense energy and dark beauty felt throughout this two track EP.

First track “Chronology”, is an invitation to an unfamiliar world. Synthetic waves ripple through the matter of sound, transferring energy and creating the sense of inclination. Emotions build up leaving the listener in agonizing anticipation, which eventually finds escape in a euphoric outburst. 

In “Protocol”, siren sounds accompanied by various tools, immediately sharpens awareness and keeps the tension growing but is soon reassured by deep synthetic melodies. Desire for more slowly builds up and breaks in a blissful drop. 

Arude and Binaryh have created a perfectly harmonized EP, which repulses complex craftsmanship and passion, taking the listener on an unforgettable emotional journey through the darkness of time.

Ukrainian duo Woo York deliver a powerful, driving, dark-yet-sophisticated sound on their upcoming ‘Chasing The Dream’ LP, set to drop on May 4 as the first artist album on Afterlife.

Opening with the brooding and thought-provoking cosmic stabs of the aptly titled ‘Inception’, Woo York guide you through a fluid-like path across ‘Chasing the Dream’, offering fluttering synths on ‘Walk Along The Rainbow’ and a rattling percussive core to ‘There Is A Light.’ Their signature 303 magic hints at acid on ‘Through Peaks and Valleys’, and there is ice-cold ambience to finish in ‘Rise’ and an alternate mix of the title track. Koi starts the fire with a super organic synth that is well and truly alive. It stands out in an unpredictable way asking to be the main character of the track. On the remix, the German talent of Lauer gives his special touch by adding more layers and different melodies into a piece of electronic music that counts with two remarkable percussion build-ups. Do it like you do is a fantastic and magical journey through electronic music. Even though it’s hard to tell the style, the common factor is smoothness and the voice of Tom Trago, who participated in this track during a crazy studio session in Madrid with the guys. Never overpowering, its presence becomes hypnotic reaching a crescendo wall of sound which melts away effortlessly. Rauchhaus injects some Teutonic wizardry playfully manipulating the main motifs into the joyous cacophony while Yost Koen goes super wonky and weirds it out with a melodic machine groove.'
