Sink your ears into the latest release from Steyoyoke Black's eclectic collection of soul-searching electronic numbers: a four-piece EP from the masterful Brazilian electronic duo, Binaryh. Fittingly titled ‘Positive Negative’, the EP ranges from emotional moments of sensitivity and realness to raw glimpses of energy and drive. What results is the perfect balance of calm and chaos, love and rage, positive and negative.

The first track ‘One Digit’ begins with slow and calculated rhythmic tension, which persists over a slightly dissonant melody and builds to an epic crescendo. The heat and intensity of this song is balanced in track two with an extended and slightly more airy introduction, which converts gradually into the insistent release of angst and disruption.

Track three, ‘Consilium’, rises gracefully from the ashes of the previous numbers, providing a fresh perspective, a redeeming moment of clarity and curiosity infused with a desire for more. The extended cut lingers luxuriously on the transition from hard to soft, allowing the listener to get lost in this inviting dream world before being propelled forward into the unknown.

The impact of the EP as a whole is an emotional journey inward through the human psyche. A battle of the self, encapsulating all the conflicting aspects of emotion and struggle, translated into an intuitive and unvarnished piece of art.

Oliver Schories faced Soul Button and BLANCAh's 'Rising Silence' turning this track into a twisted fantasy guaranteed to engulf you. MIDAS 104 approaches Animal Picnic's 'Gravity' with a bold confidence evident in the layout of this true anthem of ethereal techno, with a hint of funk! Lastly, but not leastly, Jonas Saalbach remixes Dahu and MPathy's 'Shattered' sticking to the darkness that is, while adding minimalistic elements to make this track simultaneously sink in and pop out in the most unpredictable and astounding ways.

Following up from her ‘Birds’ EP, BLANCAh has once again extended her skills and delivered yet another well rounded release. Titled ‘Soturno’, this all original three track EP reflects BLANCAh’s versatility and strong sense for self-expression. In its entirety, ‘Soturno’ will touch the furthest corners of your mind and embrace every curve of your soul. 
The title track ‘Soturno’ certainly wastes no time and immediately ushers you toward a one way excursion of intensity. Eerie synths, ghastly bass lines and sneering high hats carve out the depths of this track, yet it also embellishes some rather quirky soundscapes and obscurities, all of which highlight BLANCAh’s own love for all things weird and wonderful. 
Riding in upon a myriad of percussion and bold drum layers, is the EP’s second track ‘Arestas’. Accompanied with flurries of contemplative piano chords and a surging urgency, this track generates an extremely powerful energy. ‘Arestas’ can best be described as a musical treasure chest, overflowing with an abundance of hidden beauty. 
‘Ode a Um Corpo Imperfeito’ is the icing on the cake for ‘Soturno’ and plays a key role in transforming this EP into a masterstroke of self-reflection and artistry. Possessing clean basslines and an array of simple yet profound percussive elements, this tracks vibe seems to march and meander with a mighty presence, skulking with a severity that adds life to every chord, beat and thrum.

Montreal artist @Kora-musique takes the next steps for recently launched New York label Earthly Delights, an imprint centred on spotlighting talents pushing the boundaries of electronic blends. The Canadian producer and DJ picks up the mantle from Yor Kultura, who provided the labels first release in a three tracker titled 'Odyssey'. Kora comes to the label after the well received 'Nuit D'Afrique' and 'Ovo' on Kindisch in November. He treats Earthly Delights to two original cuts in 'Fragile' and 'Vayu'. The pair have already seen much support  from the likes of Acid Pauli, Hernan Cattaneo, Oliver Schories, as well as heavy rotation on the playa. White Ocean founder Timujin supplies the remix action, reworking his own top notch version of 'Fragile'. Today, we're very excited to present to you in full premiere 'Fragile' in its original mix. This is an incredibly emotive cut, which fuses two distant worlds in one exquisite concoction. Multi-talented musician and producer Monolink joins Sabo's Sol Selectas Records clan this month with a splendid cut in 'Burning Sun'. The release comes stacked with an incredible ensemble of remixers, which includes Davi, Be Svendsen and Underyourskin' Just Emma. We're very excited to present the Just Emma edition in full premiere to When We Dip readers today. The German pair has crafted a simply sublime remix. Rising from the ashes, the tracks builds from a soothing intro to a chunky yet effortless groove. It rolls forth smothered in a mysterious, dreamy atmosphere, while the vocal remains centre stage. It's dropping June 9th exclusive to Beatport, and on all other stores June 23rd.
