Now in its fourth year and with one album already under their belt, the Steyoyoke Recordings family are finally ready to follow things up with their second album ‘Coalescence’. Lost & Found deliver the long-awaited, highly anticipated remix package for Khen's 'One Day Of Independence' LP this week. It's a stacked line-up on the release with label boss Guy J himself, Lehar, Luca Bachetti, Termoment and rising star Patrice Baumel all turning in their own takes on cuts from the album. Baumel, who's seized major attention with releases on the likes of Kompakt and Anjunadeep over the last year, provides a sleek, smooth, synth-laden roller for the occasion, taking the original track up a notch in intensity. We're very excited to present the remix in full premiere today :)

In the words of the Amsterdam-based producer himself, Baumel explained "I consider Khen one of the most promising new artists in electronic dance music and was blown away by his album. The beauty of “Land of Goshen” lies in his melodic arrangement. I wanted the remix to respect the original and just gave it the club treatment it needed to beam people into outer space.”

With much pride we present to you the first WEITER EP from 2018, a package containing remixes from Olivier Weiter & Alex Preda’s “Zebra & Moods” EP, released earlier in 2017.

With this package the label shows its musical variety, a remix for every moment, a remix for every mood. 

Kicking off with Ramon Tapia, who delivered a massive dance floor bomb interpretation of “Zebra”, taking you on a heavy techno trip. Made for the peak-time moments, the 4/4 in your face pumping sound of Ramon Tapia will do heavy damage on the dance floor. No time for emotional serenades, its all about basses and massive drops here! 

Melodic maestro Einmusik is taking you on a very emotional, melodic highway with his version of Zebra. Layer after layer, the uplifting melodies and subtle changes in the arrangement let you float away. Combined with Einmusik’s signature drums, it doesn’t loose the groove while in the meantime the track is reaching for the stars. Warm and melodic is the best way to describe this beautiful Einmusik remix of Zebra. 

Donatello made a re interpretation of “Moods” and is best described as tech house with a progressive twist. Vibing along the way, subtle parts of the original track are blending with Donatello’s years of experience as a top-notch producer. He made the original more dance floor friendlier and accessible. Donatello couldn’t be missed on this package, after delivering a massive debut EP on WEITER last year. We are very happy to have him on board again, and this remix shows why. 

To close the package, we have a very smooth remix from “Staves”, discovered by their latest remix on Nick Warren’s label the Soundgarden. Staves made a steady, groovy remix of Zebra, inspired by afterhours, sunsets, beaches and outdoor locations. Laidback, without loosing energy. A must have.

When Summer in Berlin is just as great, you can't do nothing but getting amazing music out of your studio. This is what happened with Einmusik and these three shinning tracks forming the upcoming EP on Sincopat. On remix duties we have back on board another German star: Gabriel Ananda.
 
Samuel Kindermann aka Einmusik opens the pack with the beautiful and also powerful melodic composition of ‘Sponge’. Adding hypnotism to the party, this first song reaches madness in the breakdown. Things get deeper with ‘Sa Trincha’ and its delicate layers of synths.  This amazing second plate builds patiently towards an incredible journey which is twisted into the 90s flavor with the Gabriel Ananda remix. This extraordinary rework definitely takes ‘Sa Trincha’ to the next level. Last but not at least, ‘Pulsar’ offers the emotional and vibrant textures of the most elegant atmospheres, closing the musical spectrum of this rich EP.
