Sound bytes of fleeting moments, Innellea make their name known on Steyoyoke bringing us two originals and two remixes with their EP Colante. The title track ‘Colante’ includes a remix by Nick Devon, and ‘Galagant’ is accompanied by a remix from Dahu. Another awe-inspiring, hypnotic EP brought to you by Steyoyoke, ‘Colante’ has no boundaries.

Innellea’s original ‘Colante’ contains very strong, domineering kicks and melodies, which control and confound the track’s pace, constantly teasing your ears. The curious bass lines serve as a marvelous foundation for both the original and remix. Nick Devon takes on his own approach with ‘Colante’, adding his own flavours and tempo, as this tastefully composed track slinks shyly into your mind.

‘Galangant’, a spicy track best served hot, features beautifully arranged synths which lure and capture your soul and heart simultaneously. The intelligent use and variation of highs has made a creatively curious composition. Dahu’s take on ‘Galangant’ features his own approach towards sound manipulation, creating an eerie effect on this ethereal track. Making the original only more mystifying, Dahu truly knows how to add clouds to the darkness!

Another breath-taking EP from Steyoyoke, and an achievement for Innellea, Dahu, and Nick Devon. The magic music that Steyoyoke gives birth to can only push the realms of house, tech, and techno even further, as proven time and time again. Soul Button takes the helm once again with ‘Master of my Fate’. Featuring 4 tracks, his latest coup is an exercise in the beauty of dissonance. 
‘Master of my Fate’ is a haunting track bound to polarize. Detuned to breaking point, a resonant pad sets the scene for a mesmerizing vocal that intertwines with the synths to create an eerie layer of ethereal melancholia. A tom-ridden groove and impatient cymbals provide the groundwork for the breathtaking soundscapes unfolding above.
A compact kick drum introduces the listener to ‘Secret Sense’. Percussive resonant stabs and pads emerge, build, and recede in waves of warmth, finally giving in to an epic lead. ‘Secret Sense’ is a track of ebb and flow, gradually pulling the listener in and out as the highs and lows play an enticing game of hide and seek.
‘Illumine’ returns to blissful dissonance. Detuned keys are at the center of this heart wrenching track, while a smattering of rides seems to merge with an array of glittering synthesizers. ‘Illumine’ hits the listener in the soul and is reminiscent of beauty in the darkest of places.
‘Paramour’ is the groover of the pack. A rapid beat of nuanced tambourines, congas and percussives unfolds gradually, accompanied by an emotive and slowly evolving pad. Bells, guitars and horns enter the fray to create an ethnic soundscape drawing on a wealth of musical heritage in limbo between east and west.
With ‘Master of my Fate’, Soul Button demonstrates that he’s not afraid to push his artistic boundaries and take his signature style to new and unexpected places.

"Over the last 10 years, Germany’s D-Nox and Beckers have enjoyed something of a cult existence. Formed from a mutual love of the music, they were individually successful already; their meeting of minds transcending that almost immediately. Meaty and full of soul, their releases soundtrack a million e-moments with regular support from an army of peers in the Prog House world. Polyacid is no exception. Built around a bubbling acid line it twists and weaves its tale to a point where you’re genuinely upset when it finishes. 

  With such big boots to fill, the remixers had to pull out all the stops. First up, Dutch wunderkind and Lost and Found regular, Navar opts for a stripped back approach hanging the main motifs from a calming percussive network of hats, claps and woodblocks. Stereo Underground builds his mix around a repeating synth hook which quickly mesmerises as he defty mutates and twists its sound throughout. Rounding out the pack, Definition marries afro-house percussion with strings and piano to create a wondrous light and dark opus, bubbling with acidic undertones.  "

The title track, produced by ACUD and BEATMÖRTELZ, is here new interpreted in an impressive way by the downtempo specialists ARUTANI and O/Y, by RODION (ALIEN ALIEN), which is known for his massive Nu-Disco Skills, and finally, in a faster version, by AIO. Further LUKAS ENDHARDT gives the poetic track FLIEGEPETER a new look. The original version by ACUD will be published also in a radio version.
