this is my live recording from Friday night @ Dubstation... very sorry for the tight door due to testing procedures...i am sure the working lab people did their best ... sure many more of u would have been there...so at least we have that recording... 
anyhow it was a magic night and moment ...the air was clear & warm and the festival with all its colors and illuminations ready....🚀✨🌈 🌠

Today we are happy to welcome our Mexican amigo and amazing artist @jiony to our podcast series! If you didn’t have the chance to listen to him last October in Berlin, you now have the unique occasion to listen to the live set which he designed for his performances in the German capital. 
Jiony’s style is unmistakable, it consists of an elegant blend of vocal samples, jazzy and bluesy elements, which he masterfully combines with a bouncy and dubby bassline. The skilful producer doesn’t miss the chance to include also traditional motifs from his motherland, giving an exotic taste to his great sound. Jiony developed his skills over almost two decades, as he started producing music back in the late ‘90s on Fruity Loops, now known as FL Studio. Few years later he learned DJing on the CD players which his friend had at home. Playing music was fun, but limiting. Jiony wanted to play his own music in his own way, so he started the magical journey into live production in 2013, and that journey is still far from seeing its end. 
When asked about the message he wanted to deliver to his listeners, Jiony replied ‘Chill, shake, and enjoy’, as it is written on the packaging of a Mexican juice. No matter how weird this may sound, but these instructions truly fit the beautiful set which he prepared for us. Chilled but shaky...and definitely enJIONYable!

Ein untypisches Weihnachtsfest

Die Weihnachtszeit hat heute ihren Höhepunkt erreicht. Das Fest ist in diesem Jahr definitiv ganz anders, als es sonst so war. Der Kreis wird auf die engsten Familienmitglieder beschränkt und innerhalb der heimischen Vierwände, sich beschenkt. So manche Tradition wird diese Weihnachten gebrochen, so haben die Kirchen und Gebetshäuser kollektiv geschlossen. Vieles läuft an diesem Heiligabend ungewöhnlich ab, doch so manches bleibt auch altvertraut. Geschenke laden unterm Baum, und auf den Weihnachtsumtrunk verzichten die Meisten, wohl kaum. Es wird gut gegessen und viel gelacht, irgendwie wird aus eigenartig, dann doch passend gemacht. Man nennt Weihnachten nicht umsonst Zeit der Besinnlichkeit, also lasst uns dankbar sein für Familie, Freunde, Wohlstand und Gesundheit.

Der heutige Podcast ist eine Weihnachts-Spezialausgabe bereitgestellt und gemixt von Käpt‘n 12 & Düsentrieb. Damit Euch in den Feiertagen nicht der akustische Sprit ausgeht, läuft die 185 satte 4 Stunden und 12 Minuten lang. Ein roter Faden schlängelt sich unverkennbar von Track zu Track. Ein holpriges Jahr stolpert dem Ende entgegen und alle Welt fiebert einer besseren Fortsetzung von 2019 entgegen. Für unsere Disko war aber auch Zw0-20 ein gelungenes Jahr. Wir haben unserer erste Kompilation in den Äther gejagt, sind in der Label und Vereinsplanung einen Schritt weiter gekommen, und auch so haben wir tausende Ohrenpaare mit schöner und Abwechslungsreicher Musik beglücken können. Ohne NYE-Party wollen wir euch aber auch nicht dastehen lassen.
