Recorded January 2010 at Rumblemunk Studios. I know this because it was written on the CD sleeve; shout out to Christoph for his thorough documentation. 

I like this mix because its fairly accurate representation of the style and vibe of this time. This was an exclusive mix for a popular DJ website at the time, and the project had a very tight deadline (or maybe I had procrastinated too long?) So, no time to overthink the playlist sequence, just hit record and go for it. After a gentle reminder of the impending due date, I went to the studio that evening and got it on the first take.

At long last, a recorded set with live flute. This one truly came from the heart - an hour of liquid drum and bass goodness. I dug through the digital "crates" and included a few fave tracks that date back to the start of my 20 years as a DJ.
