Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Jay Frederick is a New York City-based artist whose work includes multiple mediums. Having impressed musicians and critics alike with his highly personal approach to the drumset as a powerful yet uncommonly delicate and sensitive instrument, Frederick's aesthetic has expanded to include photography, film, electro-acoustic soundscapes, as well as popular and rock songcraft.  Inspired and connected to visual arts, Frederick follows a unique path in creating compositional works.

The Minimal Wave label was founded by Veronica Vasicka in 2005 to create a network for synth wave enthusiasts and promote 80s electronic music via an online archive and vinyl releases. The label specializes in high-quality vinyl pressings of electronic artists from all over the world. Our sub-label Cititrax focuses on modern and experimental electronic dance music. Aside from limited edition vinyl releases, both labels' catalogs are available digitally as well.

Anika a.k.a Annika Henderson (D/GB) is a hybrid artist. The former journalist made a name for herself in the electronic music scene, with her experimental sound collages, confrontational texts and unique way of performing live solo. Her breakthrough came in 2010 with the release of the cult-hit, experimental LP, ‚Anika‘ (Stones Throw /Invada), which she recorded with Geoff Barrow and band Beak> in Bristol, a wholey unplanned affair, which began Anika's journey into the music, film, poetry and arts scenes. Her most known song remains ‚I Go To Sleep‘, a cover of ‚The Kinks‘ 1965 classic.
