Zeitraffer Records is a record label in the realm of electronic dance music, based in Germany. It was founded in 2015 by Christian M, who is its owner and managing director. The idea goes back a few years, but was implemented completely only now for financial reasons. That is why Zeitraffer Records is still at the beginning of its career. Through the long-cherished dream of self- produced and distributed music, individual and diverse sound elements could be collected over the years for music production, which now mark the sound of Zeitraffer Records as unmistakable, fresh and innovative and thus have the potential to be club hits. By deliberately missing collaborations or other influences exercised by third parties, Zeitraffer Records represents original personal sound with recognition value. Right from the inception of its idea of music to video production, merchandise, marketing, gigs and so on, everything remain within its own production, whereby a reliable basic concept with flexible elements is provided. Attention to detail, German title, English vocals, unique sounds, generation of bipolar atmosphere and driving beats - that is the mission of the label for good music. The high standard applies not only to the level of music, but also to design the cover. Even though MP3s are currently more practical, Zeitraffer Records puts considerable emphasis on bringing out the items on vinyl because the latter produces a richer experience than MP3.

Zeitraffer Records ist ein Plattenlabel im Bereich der elektronischen Tanzmusik mit Sitz in Deutschland. Es wurde 2015 von Christian M, Inhaber und Geschäftsführer, gegründet. Die Idee dazu reicht schon einige Jahre zurück, konnte aber aus finanziellen Gründen erst jetzt in vollem Umfang umgesetzt werden, weshalb Zeitraffer Records noch am Anfang seiner Laufbahn steht.Durch den langgehegten Traum Musik selbst zu produzierten und zu vertreiben, konnten über Jahre individuelle und vielfältige Klangelemente zur Musikproduktion gesammelt werden, welche den Sound von Zeitraffer Records nun unverwechselbar, frisch und innovativ klingen lassen und somit Clubhit-Potential bieten. Durch bewusst fehlende Kooperationen oder sonstige Einflussnahmen Dritter, steht Zeitraffer Records des weiteren für ursprünglichen Sound mit Wiedererkennungswert.Von der Musik-Idee über Videoproduktion, Merchendise, Marketing, Gigs uvm. bleibt alles in eigener Herstellung, wodurch ein verlässliches Grundkonzept mit dennoch flexiblen Elementen bereitgestellt wird. Liebe zum Detail, deutsche Titel, englische vocals, einzigartige Klänge, Erzeugung bipolarer Atmosphäre und treibende Beats – das ist der Anspruch des Labels an gute Musik.Der hohe Anspruch gilt nicht nur für die musikalische Ebene, sondern auch für die Gestaltung der Cover. Zeitraffer Rekords legt ebenso erheblichen Wert darauf die Veröffentlichungen auch auf Platte herauszubringen, da Vinyl ein intensiveres Musikerlebnis erzeugt.

Julian Wassermann steps up to the SVT plate with an immersive four track effort that showcases his knack for deep tech melodies. A minimal bassline and synths straight from the depths of space lay the groundwork for Alpha, the kickoff into the EP. A subtle yet effective mood-setter, it makes for a great inaugural cut as the release unfolds. Title piece Aurea calmly follows, looming in with tribal infused percussion and lush, effusive vocals. Garnering an equally atmospheric mood, Wassermann aptly combines airy pads and dark synths into an immensely polarizing cut. People Are Strange dives in on a more dynamic note, centered around a solid bassline with alternating synth lines. Swiftly morphing into an energetic banger via punchy bass and ghostly vocal chops, the construction carries major peak time appeal. For the final contribution Imperia, Wassermann calls on the production skills of fellow Muenchener H.B.C. to create a radiant piece of spacious tech. Layering modular strobes and arpeggiated synths, their production styles merge harmoniously, resulting in a dancefloor-ready strapping groove.

Moonwalk kick off 2017 in their usual style, unrolling the first production effort of the year in the form of three original tracks and a collab with label mate Teenage Mutants.

Komet comes in swiftly with a low end throbbing bass, setting a murky mood. The duo apply one of their hallmarks, developing an uplifting winding groove that is equally enveloping as it is relentless, making for a great build-up track.
Recalling a celestial atmosphere, Abstract offers an upbeat tech house exploration featuring alert arpeggiators and an optimistic melody.
Odensa, a coop with Teenage Mutants emerges from the same dark standpoint, laden with earworm synth loops and a sunken bassline. While the combination provides a steady backbone, the groove is leavened by a chordal countermelody that seizes the main focus.

By far the gloomiest track of the bunch, Vite sees Moonwalk and Teenage Mutants join forces and intersect styles in a buzzing banger full of familiar elements. A paced rhythm, rave pads, dubby stabs and subtle kicks craft a relaxed, yet effective build-up. Moonwalk and Teenage Mutants’ knack for deep tech flourishes and synthetic tones finds perfect expressions in this EP, ranging from low to high energy heaters fit for any set time.

In the DJ booth Hidden Empire and Boy Next Door all bring their immersive sets, packing up heat and energy on the dancefloor. The same can be said for their productions, which are industrious club catalysts, as they show in their latest joint release consisting of a power-heavy four tracker. Hidden Empire kicks off affairs with Lost in Time, a resounding deep tech incursion centered around a throbbing bassline and swift percussive arrangements. The groove carves out space through alternating buzzing synths and a hellish vocal, creating an acid-tinged dungeon-like atmosphere. This seems to set the tone for the entire release, as Get Lost brings to a focus an equally murky ambiance, filled with voluminous elements and heavy synth pads. An ominous vocal enhances the overall gloomy mood adding suspense, while arpeggiated chords bring in a contrasting slice of warmth and light. Boy Next Door’s first offering comes in the form of Dael, a gradually unfolding marathon of a piece, dotted by zig-zagging synths on a backdrop of a fidgety, nervous bassline. The track evolves into a stripped down wavy synth cut, suitable for shifting up gears. Koba shows off BND’s systematic treatment of bangers featuring a tense bassline and anxious percussion. Using pounding drums and a dramatic rise, it eases into a cinematic construction with ample build ups and relentless loops. All in all, a set of intense dancefloor tools fit for late-night antics as well as transitioning swiftly into the after hours.
