Motek welcomes Jonas Saalbach with his first release on the label “Everything Changes”. Jonas has delivered a silky smooth piece of Deep House, warm bass undertones and textured airy synth sounds paving the way through this undulating production. The gentle builds and subtle falls creating the basis for the the key focal point of the spoken word. Remixers on this release come from Motek boss Matt Hardinge, along with Andrea Ljekaj and Gab Rhome. Matt Hardinge has taken the track a little darker with more emphasis on sharper bass parts giving the remix more grit in texture whilst still keeping the feeling of the original track. Andrea Ljekaj has added space to his take on Everything Changes. A minimal bass part playing off the kick drum creates a punchy groove, providing freedom to enjoy the interplay of synth and percussive parts. Finally Gab Rhome has also given the track more space, adding Tech elements with woody percussive sounds set back against a washy hi hat to create his sharp dance rhythms. As the track progresses it starts to rise and develop as he adds more melody movement in, building gradually from start to finish.

When you’ve already asked an artist six times for an EP, you just know there’s something special about his music. We’re glad to welcome you once again into the world of Remcord.

With his Sura EP the French producer takes the concept of ‘less is more’ to a whole new level. His minimalistic approach on electronic music translates itself into three immersive melodic house tracks.  With the title- and opening track ‘Sura’ Remcord raises the bar in terms of psychedelic atmospheres. ‘Jalo’ on the other hand is the kind of track that hypnotizes a whole dancefloor with its warm and emotional synth chords. Last but not least ‘Tera’ is characterized by the endless arpeggio that floats through the extremely well crafted musical composition.

With this EP Remcord proves again why he’s one of the most promising French producers out there at the moment!

Named after a paradisiac Greek island, 'Kos' stirs up easygoing atmospheres atop a playful melody. Restful bird trills and a grave vocal add another dimension to the quixotic tableau. 

'Zeus' rings in a familiar construction with neatly layered textures. Whether it’s zig-zagging synths or a fizzy bassline, there’s a simplicity that permeates and prevails at every step.

Jaw Dropping Records EP - brought to you by no one less than Marc Molina and Calypse. Just in time for the hottest season! Marc was born and raised in Barcelona and is known for super groovy productions on labels like Frequenza. Maura and Shana both make the female only DJ duo Calypse. They are based in Rome and are the perfect fit for this Southern European co-production EP. “Free Souls” is the name of the main track of the release. The influence by both their warm Southern regions are undeniable. They created a house track carried by a round kick and driving hi-hats with a catchy and deep synth melody and club-ready drops.

Here comes Peter Groskreutz. His remix of the title track is faster and darker but on the same side hold on to the the catchiness of the original. The perfect edition for a diverse release that provides music to music lovers of all kinds!
