The concept is an entire set of electro swing tracks mixed by several internationally renowned DJ's and fused in to one set.
The success to date can be seen and heard for Phos Toni, the organizer, DJ and father of the ESE mixes. The Soundcloud plays, comments, and likes clearly speak for themselves!

For the 3rd part of the ESE series, Phos Toni https://soundcloud.com/phostoni and Wolfgang Lohr https://soundcloud.com/wolfganglohr have joined together for a DJ mix with tracks produced and collected exclusively for this compilation. The label Ton Liebt Klang https://soundcloud.com/ton-liebt-klang (Hamburg) quickly fell in love with this idea, and publishes the compilation both digitally and on vinyl. 18 exclusive electro swing tracks are the result of artists who are very successful in other genres. It is a large collection of current Electro Swing Club music, inspired by traditional swing mixed with modern tech-house, making it something for everyone.

We started raving in our late teens and early twenties to the first stuff Tiga and Boys Noize ever put out. There was no such thing as dubstep and certainly no such thing as "trap", it was just raw as fuck techno/electro.

They were two names of a pool of artists that defined and shaped an entire generation of dance music lovers. So we were absolutely stoked to be asked to remix them, and for them to approve our mix. We tried to add a touch of that old school club sound of that era into the fold as we thought it fitting - hope that it gets worked on a few dancefloors around the place!

Julian Wassermann steps up to the SVT plate with an immersive four track effort that showcases his knack for deep tech melodies. A minimal bassline and synths straight from the depths of space lay the groundwork for Alpha, the kickoff into the EP. A subtle yet effective mood-setter, it makes for a great inaugural cut as the release unfolds. Title piece Aurea calmly follows, looming in with tribal infused percussion and lush, effusive vocals. Garnering an equally atmospheric mood, Wassermann aptly combines airy pads and dark synths into an immensely polarizing cut. People Are Strange dives in on a more dynamic note, centered around a solid bassline with alternating synth lines. Swiftly morphing into an energetic banger via punchy bass and ghostly vocal chops, the construction carries major peak time appeal. For the final contribution Imperia, Wassermann calls on the production skills of fellow Muenchener H.B.C. to create a radiant piece of spacious tech.
