Two years on since his latest incursion on Stil vor Talent with 'The Pictures', Switzerland-based producer Kellerkind turns in his newest four-tracker, 'Forest Mystery'. Delving in his natural inclination towards mystique-imbued tribal sounds, this new effort packs a serious Afro-futuristic kind of punch, laced with a powerhouse hi-tech feel bound to cut a path of devastation across the dance floors. Where the title-track 'Forest Mystery' flexes a bouncy swagger flush with middle-eastern tropes - including some fiery darbukkah solos, and nicely complemented by classic piano house stabs, flamenco-informed clapping and a hi-intensity buildup to rev it all with irresistible club impact, 'Karinda' treats us to a further hypnotic sequence of stripped-back East Coast grooviness and dubbed-out sensuality, bridging the gap between loungey house and proper ritualistic music thanks to spellbinding shaman-like vocal samples out the foggiest jungle.
On 'Mantra', a more aggro, industrial-flavoured verve echoes far and wide, ready to take on any sound system with both that typically intoxicating vox hoodoo wrapping itself around a thunderous techno backbone. Giving us a taste of eternity on the nostalgic closer 'Time', Kellerkind pulls out a massively emotional firework of Prophet-6-powered space dementia and intricate drum programming, laced with an unstoppable bass-driven landslide devouring everything in its wake, making clear 'Forest Mystery' dwells in the club and nowhere else. 2nd release on Noir Music comes from the collaboration of Florian Kruse & Hendrik Burkhard, and this time for a more dance floor functional effort by the guys. The two Germans went on a “let's make some music out in no-mans land” get- away to the north of Denmark without internet interruptions and sat down for a week to create music that has now been signed to Poker Flat, Green and this one on Noir Music. Its been a little over four years since Kellerkind released his first song to the public ear. Sirion Records gladly offered him the platform to do so then and achieved the project "Bergluft" together, which received massive credits worldwide. This was the kick-off to his music career and was followed by many releases on renowned labels such as Stil Vor Talent, Flash Rec. or Hive Audio. Nevertheless he remained active with Sirion Records as well through remixes for other projects or also with his own vinyl release "Altro Mondo". The possibility to tell an extended story is the appeal of making an album for Kellerkind. This is his chance to introduce tracks that arent mainly focused on being "dance floor" music. He integrates this quite aptly and constructively into the album. The rather simple track titles represent moving moments in his musical development. Starting off with a quite jazzy number he makes full circle back to his roots in disco on the dance floor. As the title of the main track says "Disco on the Dancefloor" is ideally suited fort he dance floor with is groovy bass and poignant disco stabs, ready to thrill the masses. The rhythm and atmosphere of this song make summer approach just a little quicker. Continuing with "Its Like" - a rather raw number, shaped by its driving bass line, which takes the buildup of the album further and with its compelling vocals manages to contrast from classic deep- tech house songs. Kellerkind cranks it up with "Triple Distilled" - organs, trumpets, flutes and synchs. A truly musical piece, destined to make you dance. "Its 2AM" keeps that pace of movement. The catchy voices add that something special to the song. "Backflash" is next - this track also appeared on Kellerkinds recently released EP on Stil Vor Talent. Mighty sounds, staged dramatically - a perfect transition to "Play it Loud". Kellerkind relies entirely on melodic bass line at the center of this track and its strong sub bass to pull you in. The precisely placed, bizarre vocal cuts maintain the songs diversity and tension. This is one not to be missed on the dance floor. Concluding the Album shouldnt get your heart pumping, but rather melting into deeper, quieter tracks in which the artist takes us. The final track, the perfect ending to the album, is an incredibly melancholic chord sequence added to a cozy beat. Truly a successful, exciting, well told story. With their variations, the bonus tracks are an excellent addition to Kellerkinds signature style. None lesser than Channel X (Stil vor Talent), Animal Trainer (Stil vor Talent) and Jon Donson (Sirion Records) did the honors.

A harrowing feeling that came to him after the recent passing of his mother, who has been through a long, arduous, but ultimately unsuccessful chemo therapy cancer treatment. During these strenuous months, producing music was his place of refuge; a sanctuary to receive his manifold emotions.

“Tuk Tuk” is the third single from the album "Nobody Is Not Loved", that is now being released.

It is a highly energetic track that swerves across genres, first and foremost through the powerfulness of the extraordinary voice of Inez, singer of the German band ÄTNA. Her strong attitude stands above it all: "I'm the boss!"

The music video is a parable for the main idea behind the album title: The invisible protagonist of the video is the music, embodied by Inez. And she really has to fight. Throughout history, music has been misused, attacked or entirely forbidden – but until now has always prevailed. And once again in this case!

Because only music has the power to overcome everything - and to unite everyone in the end.
