Leftwing & Kody are on Suara with their very first EP on the kitty label. This english duo did great with the remix for Sonny Fodera Can't Deny and are back with a mind-bending four track release. We are all massive fans of these guys; they make such exciting choices in their music and we thought this particular track, with the Miley sample, would sound really interesting interpreted by a female voice. Blythe laid down a vocal which seemed to work first take - everything followed that :) we just hope they like it!

It's that time of year again and ADE is right around the corner, which means Get Physical has called upon the likes of Brett Johnson, Mandy, Tim Green, Fabio Giannelli and more to bring you a bevy of unreleased tunes that have made for a very moody, very get-the-party-started kind of soundtrack to prepare for our favorite dance conference of the year. This one's mixed by the hard-rocking, genre-shunning Bryan Kessler, whose own sharp, cinematic contribution is a highlight of the mix and a fitting introduction to Get Physical's ADE event, to be held in an old theatre in the heart of Amsterdam. We'll be featuring Chicago's DJ Pierre as guest of honor, along with some GP all-stars like M.A.N.D.Y., German Brigante and Kessler himself.

Get Physical's latest release revolves around a certain early-morning composition that first appeared on our Miami compilation ahead of this year's WMC and then on our sweet, summery Ibiza 2014 mix. We're talking about Canadian Paolo Rocco's Caution You ft. Wayne Tennant, a laid-back creation perfect for wrapping up nights or kicking off morning sessions. For the occasion, we called upon the likes of John Acquaviva & Olivier Giacomotto, Terence Terry, Alix Alvarez, Lessi s., Ohmme and GP mainstay Bryan Kessler, all of which have injected their own flavour to Rocco's creation. From dark and cinematic to upbeat and bubbly or stripped-back; this is one series of remixes that leaves no stone unturned to make sure there's a little Caution You for every moment of the night or day.

Solid Steel (7th November)  Our guest in Hour 1 this week is Bass Clef with very much a mix of two halves. The London based producer released his latest EP 'Moment Only Moment' on Sneaker Social Club and 2 tracks feature in this mix, alongside Alice Coltrane, Alvin Lucier, Kraftwerk, Liquid Liquid and LSDJ-E . He had this to say;
"The first half has a lot of acapella, free jazz, modern classical, world music, it's a tribute to the 'anything goes' spirit of chillout rooms circa the early 90s (something I also associate with Coldcut and the Solid Steel series with too..true adventurism innit) combined with a heavy nod to Glenn Gould's ideas of polyphonic and counterpoint radio shows, like 'The Idea Of North'.
Then the second half is more straight up bangers, Bass Clef new bits and a few personal classics."

The lead track "Factory 7" takes you through it's initially haunting soundscapes then hits you with a massive hoover bassline. Label bosses Leftwing & Kody have been playing this one for the last few months and it has been doing the damage to the floor 

"Loving Arms" begins with some hypnotic percussion followed on by a rolling bassline and also showcases the guys skills when using vocal samples 

Finally Philip Bader takes his spin on Factory 7 and turns it into a real tech monster!

Great Stuff is happy to present the first edition of the Junge Wilde series. Junge Wilde (young and wild) is a fresh artist collective based in Austria with a big passion for the deeper and more emotional shades of house music.

Der Wanderer is starting of the EP with his string heavy remix of Steaming Satellites&#8217; &#8220;How Dare You&#8221;. Strong vocals and a catchy hook float above an melancholic bed of rhythms.

Haugli&#8217;s &#8220;All Night Long&#8221; features a more upfront approach with longer drops and and an enormously funk driven bassline and groove. The chord progressions and vocal snippets provide a very positive overall vibe.

Next up is Steve Hope with &#8220;Back Days&#8221;, which sounds inspired by the aesthetics of 1980&#8217;s house. An old school bass line holds this prime time beast together - while the percussion, vocals and string samples do their part of adding the right amount of energy.

Koubi is closing out the EP with the acoustic &#8220;Your Smile&#8221;. A laid-back groove follows the guitar lead throughout and breaks down here and there into joyful drops.
